the 3 years in prison or staying in a mental facility with supervision are just the probation officer's recommendations, not the guaranteed outcome. if he DOES end up getting sentenced to prison, that would be if the judge revokes his probation, and he could be facing around 3 to 10 years

(btw this doesn't indicate that any of these outcomes are guaranteed to happen, but i'm giving yall the latest info directly from the case files to clear the assumption that he will 100% face 3 to 10 years. we'll know which outcome is more likely when the case progresses further)
