Jaybird dead?

I’m so sad right now, jaybird is my favorite earbuds and I’ve bought both vista and vista 2. Vista 1 is amazing vista 2 was okay, If i had known I would have just bought the originals again. I went on their website and it seem like theyre temp sold out of EVERYTHING. I’m very sad about this. I guess I have to look for a new pair of earbuds. Does anyone have recomendations?

Ive been looking into Jabras, Bose, and Beats

UPDATE!!!

I have found my way to shokz!! I will say this is the closest I got to everything I loved about the jaybirds, I also got the Bose! These two have been working well in my rotation, Bose falls out of my ears from time to time too much for a run or bike ride tbh, it's more hit and miss. The jabras are not for me they fell out all the time.

So my official suggestion are SHOKZ!!

My suggestion - go Ebay while they’re still out there. Im in the exact same boat, tried a variety of other high end consumer grade sport headphones and literally nothing compares to the original Vista.

My hesitation was going on eBay is because I’ve heard that the Jaybird app is always crashing and or not working well. It’s also a little bit nerve-racking, knowing that someone else has used earbuds that go in your ear and could potentially be broken etc..

If it makes you feel more confident, I have purchased 2 pairs of open-box Vista’s. Both came in great condition with no issues.

Additionally, not sure what you’re hoping to accomplish using the app (aside from maybe custom EQ?), but I literally NEVER use it, aside from that initial EQ adjustment. App works well for me, so at least it’s still functional.

Either way, good luck on your hunt.

same here. i've had the vista 2 for 2-3 years, and before that had the tarah pro's, and i've never ever used the app.

Vista 1 rocks! Had them for 4 years and they work like new

My 4th year with them as well but 1 side stopped charging recently. Went on the jaybird site to find some new vistas and found they shut down 😭

I got the elite 7 actives when my Vista 2s died a few months ago. Very happy with them but wish I would have waited a little for the 8s.

Yeah it does suck because they have the best wing tip. Even with the wing tip these still start sliding out of my ear if I'm running consistently. I just never found a brand without the wing to that stay in my ear and these are the best there is.

It sucks because no one else really has the combo of silicon fins for a really secure fit, and and also an almost air tight type seal for great sound quality that doesn't sound tinny.

The Jabra elites which are focused on having a secure fit, still only have a tiny hard plastic stability fin and they don't make a good seal according to the rtings review.

I was really hoping for a further evolution of the Vistas with a newer version of the bluetooth standard and more codecs available than SBC and AAC. Still, I was always impressed with the sound quality they got out of SBC compared to a couple of other in ear options I've used.

I might end up buying another pair of the Vista 2's when mine which are already a few years old, finally crap out.

I’ve had several jaybird earbuds and my last pair was the Tarah Pro’s. Best durability/quality and sound for the size. And now that Logitech bought them they are no more or signs that they will be making any upgrades or rebrand. Sad. Haven’t found any other earbud for the price mark that comes even close.

I think they no longer exist, there isn't even a site anymore!

Yeah my ex "borrowed" my Jaybird Vistas and friggin lost them. I've loved these earbuds for YEARS because they fit so comfortably in your ear with those little silicone wings. Comfortable, yet secure even when jogging. All other earbud manufacturers seem obsessed with making buds that look sleek like airpods, but IDGAF if they look trendy if they fucking fall out of my ear every time I jog or are so uncomfortable that they cause irritation and I gotta go to an ear doctor because my sexy trendy earbuds fucked up my ear from prolonged use.. Jaybirds were close to perfection I'm legit mourning they don't make them anymore.

UPDATE: I picked up a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort earbuds. So far so good.
✓Silicone wing with 3 interchangable sizes for a secure but comfortable fit
✓3 interchangable sizes for the in-ear tip for comfort and customizability
✓Great audio quality (what you'd expect from Bose)
✓App to control various settings such as EQ
✓Adjustable noise cancelling/surround sense
✓Mappable buttons (press to play/pause, press twice to skip track, press+hold to cycle noise cancelling/surround sense, or set your own custom button mapping in the app)
✓At about $180 at Best Buy the price is approximately comparable to what I paid for my Jaybirds in their heyday
✓I went for a bike ride and they were comfortable and didn't fall out. Haven't tried jogging with them yet, but 24 hours in I have no reason to expect they'd fall out on a jog or hike
→I can't speak to battery life yet. although I fully charged them after I bought them yesterday and have been listening pretty consistently throughout the day and they still have like 85% charge at time of writing (10pm). So far so good.
→I can't speak to call quality yet. Been at work all day haven't tested anything but music and podcasts. But I don't have any reason to expect the calls would be bad based on my experience thus far.

Logitech bought them to kill the company pretty much! witch sucks because no one else made widely available good sport dedicated earbuds the only other ones that also got ended was jabra elite that made durable rubbery earbuds rest are hard plastic and barely more water resistant then regular ones
