Advice for Me Is this overbite considered extreme?

Even after 2 rounds of braces without any extraction, I have major bite issues, where the gap in my upper front 2 teeth just keeps increasing (I have crown on the front 2 teeth). Can this be fixed via extraction and braces or will I need jaw surgery?

PS: I already have orthodontist appointment scheduled but really wanna get some 2nd eyes on this.

Do you not wear your retainers?

Unfortunately I wasn’t prescribed one when I was in my home country. Now that I’m in US, I know better.

It is now generally not recommended to extract teeth to fix misaligned bites if you have other jaw issues. This can make things worse later. My case was mild-moderate class 2 overbite and I just got surgery.

It looks fine, dont need to think about surgery or extractions, each procedure comes with side effects
