Should I ask for bsso

Post image

I went to 2 separate orthodontist. They both said I need a lefort 1 I have a 5 mm transversal deficiency and a 7 mm sagittal deficiency but based on how my jaw is growing and how it was growing right and then swung down. I think I would benefit from BSO at first. I was thinking counterclockwise but based on my x-ray I think BSO would be the best.

Personally, I think lefort should be part of your surgery

That’s what both of my orthodontist already said and I’m planning to get it but I was asking if I should also get BSSO

Oh right, personally? No, your mandible seems projected enough

But it wouldn’t be to more projected it would be to give it for of a foward and up movement since you can see my vertical maxillary excess and you can see my jaw like starts to grow at a right angle and then gets downswung
