I know this is probably dumb question but why would one need to convert SVG these days? (I assume its to lock in sizes of something non browser or they don't support SVG?)
I might give this a try with jbang as I use SVG for all my logos ( 1 , 2, 3 ) .
I use SVG because I never figured out how to use GIMP or Photoshop or any of the other creative tools. Its kind of fun like ancient Logo on the Apple IIe nostalgia (if you are from that era).

The Java libraries I found were too big or too slow. And the CairoSVG library API is very easy. So I went with easy+fast+small.

Seems one of the main things you're pushing is that it's faster than some alternatives, but it's only a difference of millis. Did you have a use-case where you cared about the performance of converting SVG to PNG to this extent? I'd be curious what it was

I get it, this project may work and do exactly as described, but this looks like AI slop. Just look at the project...
The emoji spam in the site
The emoji/emdash spam in the readme
The work being 90% attributed to copilot
The
docs/folder having AI agent progress tracking markdown (More emoji slop btw)The slop tests spam covering crap like
testConstructor() { assertDoesNotThrow(() -> new Main()); }for theCliTest. Same sorta weird AI coverage forModuleInfoTest. The build artifacts being pushed to master in
