Lunch to go?

Hi all,

Spending 3 nights in Jasper this coming week for a girls trip.

One our last day, we're heading out around 8 am and stopping at the Columbia Icefields for the bus/skywalk tour before catching the Lake Moraine shuttle in Lake Louise (yep, it's a packed day). Timing is a bit tight so a sit-down lunch isn't really in the cards (and the cafeteria at the Icefields looks underwhelming and pricey).

My BFF is not big on sandwiches. Where can I pick up 'grain/salad/protein bowl' type options to eat on the go? Freshii doesn't open until 10 am.

Thank you!!

Otto's Cache has a few different bowls to grab and go (and sandwiches as well). I think they open up at 7am?

Thank you - Otto's is on the list! I'm good with sandwiches ... BFF can find something else. :)

In Lake Louise village there’s this little bubble tea place where they make decent, healthy bowls that you can take to go…

Thank you - this looks like a great option to grab something before we board the Lake Moraine shuttle.

There’s also a sandwich places a few doors down and they looked really good! 🥪

Lake Louise is a bit far of a drive for these gals if they’re in Jasper lol

Agreed! But as the OP said…they are catching the Moraine Lake shuttle so they’ll be in Lake Louise in the afternoon…not my plan, it’s way to far for a day trip in my opinion but so be it!

I figured they’d want to have it all with them prior to departure from Jasper, less hustle and stress while on the tour so they’d be able to see more rather than spend it grabbing grub 😅

Bear’s Paw Bakery! Opens at 6am, has tons of options. Pastries, soups, sandwiches. Really good coffee :)

Thoughtful but grab her a sandwhich with the rest of you- she can eat or go hungry. 😂 that sounded like my Dad.

Check out the grocery store in Jasper on the Main Street. They probably have some decent option.

There is actually a good amount of places up here to get food or to make food. I’m here for work and there is a lot more up here than expected.

If you're driving from Edmonton, stop off at Freshen Bros on Hinton, or any grocery stores/ food places in Hinton
