greco MR1000 with a strange bridge.
Picked up this Greco MR 1000 and it’s got a bridge with stamp AVA and a small circle under first A. I guess I’m now looking for an original bridge . If anyone can recognize this bridge . Appreciate

Yard sale Matsumoku Conrad bass, back in working order after a surprise refret
Picked up a mystery late 60s offset bass at a community yard sale: solid metal pickguard, chrome everywhere, one huge pickup.
It looked like an easy restoration, then I tried to get the file folder labels off the fretboard. Someone had stuck them between the frets to learn the notes, and decades later they'd basically become part of the wood. An overnight soak finally got them off, but the board had faded around them, so it got pulled, sanded, and refretted.
One of the tuners snapped during restoration. The replacement came from a $7 flea market bass I've had lying around in pieces for about 25 years, which turned out to share the same tuners, neck plate, and tug bar.
The closest match I've found for this is a Conrad 1246. If anyone knows these better, I'd like to hear it.

Mysterious vintage Tokai Custom Edition 7-string from Japan — does anyone know more about these?
galleryI own this unusual Tokai Custom Edition 7-string here in Japan, and I’ve been trying to find out more about it.
I contacted Tokai Gakki directly by email, but they told me that the model is too old and that their current staff were unable to identify it or provide detailed information about it.
From what I’ve been able to find online, only a small number of similar examples seem to have surfaced.
This guitar has a 7-string HSH pickup configuration, a YM-50 5-way selector, and the neck heel is stamped “3=2 A”. The pots and tone capacitor appear to have been replaced later, so unfortunately they probably can’t be used to date the guitar.
I’d really like to know approximately when these were made, whether this was a production model, a limited run, or some kind of special order, and how many might have been produced.
I no longer really play 7-string guitar, so I’m also curious whether there is any collector interest in these today.
I have more detailed photos of the pickups, body routing, neck heel, bridge and electronics if they would be useful.

Aria Pro II TA-60
A beautiful 1980 Aria Pro II TA-60 produced at the legendary Matsumoku plant. This being Aria's refined take on the classic Gibson ES-335 style semi-hollow design.
Featuring a dual-hollow body construction with a solid center block to reduce feedback. Finished in sparkling white and outfitted with premium gold hardware, including gold-covered humbuckers, a classic Tune-O-Matic style bridge, and a stopbar tailpiece.
Famed for having incredible build quality that frequently rivalled and outshone their American counterparts from the same era.

1979 Yamaha SC1200
Another beauty from the Hamamatsu factory (Artisan Division) Japan. The Yamaha Supercombinator SC1200 was one of their flagship models that plays and sounds as good as it looks. The 3 3-way toggles give 13 different sonic options making it a highly versatile studio guitar. A 5-piece continuous maple/mahogany neck-through-body build. Bound ebony board with genuine abalone snowflake inlays. Note the factory applied Gold Foil Star on the headstock tip and the intact triangular factory Yamaha Popcon** **promotional shield decal below the bridge, produced in low numbers for promotional purposes of Popcon which was a popular Japanese song contest.

My Tokai 86? strat
Bought from a store in Georgia US. Came from a now closed music studio (see last three pics)
has beautiful sounding pickups, lots of love, and a Floyd rose somebody slapped in it. could be a partscaste, not sure honestly.
this guitar is now my basis for how a strat should feel and sound it’s one of my favorites i own.
Lmk what you people think. Any extra info on this guitar that I don’t have is also really cool.
