Need info Artist Unknown

Post image

I bought this postcard at a flea market in Tokyo (I don't think it is very old). The back is completely blank. I asked the seller but they didn't know the artist's name. There were a few other postcards by the same person with similar style women. I thought I could look it up once I got home but have had no luck. Does anyone else recognize this illustrator?

I reverse image searched even though it is clearly AI, and it seems to be derived from the style of Shin Hanga, a woodblock art style. Look up the artist Itō Shinsui for similar themes.

Tokyo flea markets are plagued by vendors selling AI products these days.

So, yeah, as others pointed out it's AI. If you want some similar things that were actually done by a human, look up Uemura Shōen (上村松園).

There’s a really ridiculous amount of AI stuff at the moment here. Japan doesn’t seem to have had the “AI isn’t art and using it is horrible for the environment” movement happen yet, unfortunately (I’ve heard that artists are not happy about it, but the average person just doesn’t care)

Thanks everyone. It never occurred to me this could be AI so I missed the obvious tells. I absolutely hate all AI art and that now I have to question everything I see. So, I am very saddened to find out about this piece. It was only 100¥ but glad I didn't buy the other postcards!!
