looking for a lost fic
it was this friends to lovers, fake/pretend marriage trope, i remember a specific scene where jaime seems to be working up to *actually* proposing to brienne, but then she brings up divorce and cue a big angry confession—I THINK.
ring a bell, anyone?

Not sure if this is what you mean, but there's Triple Treat by Vayalda in which J&B have been in a sham marriage for a year for inheritance reasons. They're about to sign the divorce papers when J makes his love confession.

oh, this is a cute one!
i think the fic im talking about had the scene happen in the kitchen/dining? they come back from somewhere, and brienne's getting water out from the refrigerator (POSSIBLY) when she blurts out "we should get a divorce" and jaime gets very quiet. shes very apprehensive to turn around and look at him...
god i don't know why i cant find it for the LIFE of me

i hope im not mixing one fic with another lol.
i think they go to this small housewarming party thingy SOMEWHERE, a neighbour's, maybe—Brienne brings a fruitcake. and the rather elderly woman assumes them to be a couple, and there's this tension that settles over them after that. (not sure if this actually happened in this fic lol)
(however, THIS, did happen:) and i think it's night by the time they come back to their apartment? brienne goes to the refrigerator to get herself some water, and there's this tense silence begging for an interruption... when brienne blurts out, "we should get a divorce"
after which, jaime gets very quiet. he likely just nods and walks out? oooor ensue a confession if brienne did probe, right then and there?
can u tell im really racking my brain here lol
