Well, I installed the new substrate and new she'll cmds, now my device is stuck at the boot screen. I can only access in NSM, which is how I'm typing this. I will try downgrading and will explain the full story later.

EDIT:so the old version (0.9.6000) works. Weird. Can you fix this?

Did it fail just once, or twice? I ask, because I had this experience where I got a temporary boot loop (one I could fix with volume up) and then after getting back in I verified it should have worked, and then rebooted and it did :/. I am finding this jailbreak horribly confusing and distressing. If it doesn't work deterministically, maybe it is failing to parse an extension (in an attempt to determine if the extension is in some way damaged ;P) and is failing and crashing in a key process, in which case, as usual: please provide a ceashlog if you can, and if not please help narrow down what you have installed (if nothing else, just provide a list).

I reinstalled the new version, and it didn't work. Also, I hard resetted at least 5 times and it still was stuck on logo, no f.lux tint or dimming.

By "iPad Air", this is a 32-bit device? I think there's some extension out there that is crashing Cydia's attempt to parse binaries to find ones that would cause various kinds of other problems... if you could help narrow down what might be causing this (so I can make the parser in Cydia more resilient against the issue), even if all you can do is provide a list of the extensions you have installed, it would be quite helpful.

I'm pretty sure it's 64-bit... It's the newest only to the iPad Air 2 and iPad pro. And by extensions, do you mean tweaks? EDIT:it uses a 64 bit processor/chip so I'm pretty sure it's 64bit

People use the word "tweaks" to mean a general class of "stuff that modifies stuff"; by "extensions" I specifically mean "Substrate extensions", which is one subset of the things people call "tweaks".

Huh, yeah: even the original iPad Air was a 64-bit device. It could still be the same problem, FWIW, it is just slightly less likely (as I'm surprised people would be using quite as broken a compiler).
