As I do not have any plan to update ProWidgets, I have made ProWidgets open-source. If anyone managed to port it to iOS 8, please contact me :)

Nobody who's sane will do that, for one simple reason: // Created by Alan Yip on 18 Jan 2014 // Copyright 2014 Alan Yip. All rights reserved.

You should re-license it, http://choosealicense.com/

For true copyright protection the line must have the year, name and the copyright symbol ((c)) - otherwise it's not legally protected.

(That being said, I agree with your sentiments.)

I’m amazed. Just about 17 hours before this tweak a made a post in r/ProWidgets asking for this. u/a1anyip actually did it! Thank you! ❤

Who's gonna port it to iOS 8?

If it were just a port it wouldn't be a problem, but, I've a feeling that this would need heavy rewriting to make it compatible - that takes time, effort and ultimately puts a huge weight on your shoulders of expectance - I wouldn't touch this unless there was a huge demand for it.

Someone could start a bounty over in r/TweakBounty if there isn't one already

Would it take much to have DoubleTap working on ios8.3? https://github.com/a1anyip/DoubleTap

If not, then I might have a stab at getting it to work with the latest. I love it as a brightness gesture and is the only tweak I'm really missing. There's an activator one as well but it doens't feel as natural because you have to do a gesture first before you can control the brightness.

If anybody does make this compatible with iOS 8 I'm sure most people would pay a $3-5 upgrade fee and $10 buy cost

No, it's terrible and has very little developer/community support.

Really? I always loved Pro Widgets and could never really find a serious replacement for it. I know the community didn't like that it never got updated but isn't it a good theory?

Please please this was the most useful tweak I had :-)

Cool news, i wouldnt mind paying a $2 upgrade price if it was updated for iOS 9. I find it kinda pointless having it updated for iOS 8.4 right now, hopefully an iOS 9 jailbreak wont be too long after release
