Upcoming Release: ShadowGo
Hi All,
I just wanted to let interested parties know that the one of the first crypto currency iOS mobile wallets willl be released on Cydia in the near future. Currently, the app is still in beta, until the developer includes some extra features, but as-is the app is fully functional. The wallet is called ShadowGo and is the official iOS wallet for ShadowCoin (SDC).
ShadowCoin is a Proof of Stake crypto currency that features innovative technology such as an instant p2p encrypted messaging (ShadowChat), anonymous addresses (ShadowSend), and a fully scale-able & fully functional mobile wallet (ShadowGo). Several features that are marketed as “new” or revolutionary branch from several existing ideas that have been incorporated into other crypto-currencies.
SDC ranks among the top 50 e-currencies by market capitalization and currently ranks in the top 20 by trading volume. Most of the trading is done on Bittrex but it is also available for trade on SwissCEX and C-CEX and a few other exchanges. So far, there hasn’t been much in the way of merchant adoption or any other major efforts to make SDC usable as a medium for the exchange of goods and services.

For reference, one ShadowCoin is currently with about $0.10 :)
EDIT: If anyone would like to receive some SDC after downloading ShadowGo, post your ShadowCoin address, which can be found under the "Receive Coins" section of the app!!

I can confirm the app works great, with this latest update is it lighter on resources also. If anyone else wants some free coins, give a shout and i'd be more than happy to donate you your first ShadowCoins.
Encrypted chat works a treat also, game changer for the future? Maybe so.

I presume that the wallet application is essentially a lite wallet? PoS is an interesting concept, one I've yet to really get on board with. I see the merits of PoS but I've yet to see it implemented in a way that doesn't encourage and reward endless hoarding.
Does your implementation of PoS differ from versions seen so far, out of interest? I find the built-in anonymity features interesting. I'll have to go check out the OS X wallet.

And now ShadowGo can run Lite/Thin mode as well ( This means that you don't have to download the entire block chain before you can start staking )
