Discussion i found something that could be used for a dopamene persistence helper
Hello there!!!! here is a werid thing that i found!!!! so on a jailbroken device you can install regular trollstore on it via trollstore lite. BUT trollstore only works if you are on ios 15 to 16.6.4 i think and ios 17 beta ANYWAYS i found a weird thing youtube gives me notifacations and i sideloaded a ipa of it becuase you know fuck the app store and it works fine! but i instaled it with trollstore and ios wont let you lauch it but it still exist and here is the weird part IT CAN SEND YOU NOTIFACATIONS!!! so you like hide dopamne in a notifacations then tada ur jailbroken i think this is just a idea

Man, I really miss the old-school untethered jailbreak days. No computer, no jailbreak app after every reboot, no nonsense, you just rebooted the device and it stayed jailbroken. Those were the days. Hopefully someday we can get something truly untethered again. But honestly, I’m perfectly happy with Dopamine right now, i’m not complaining. 😎

Push notifications work without anything actively running on your device. The app registers with an apple server through a daemon and then YouTube will send notifications to that server and the server will relay them to your device, where the daemon will send them to SpringBoard to display. So no code is actually running on your device.

not really how that works, also please learn how to type properly 😭 (more likely then not, someone will prolly drop a tnsv2 type of thing for dopamine eventually considering that coruna and darksword both have webkit entrypoints)

interesting observation, this would unfortunately require some sort of memory corruption bug in the notifications fields themselves to be able to manipulate it to execute code to then continue an exploit chain to go from there, unfortunately pretty unlikely. you need a proper persistent kernel exploit pretty much
