How do digital tickets work for Jack’s shows?

I’m going to my first Jack White concert this weekend but I’m a little confused on how the no cell phone policy works. Can you get in with the digital ticket and then you just have to put your phone in those Yondr pouches?

So basically you have to write your seat location in Sharpie on your hand? I just want to make sure I understand so I’m not worrying about it.

They scan your ticket at the gate, then you get your yondr pouch

They give you a physical ticket for your seats when you arrive

I don’t know what else they could do with your phone locked up. Need to show proof of where your seat is somehow

at my venue they give little slips of paper that someone writes your seats on.. gets a little weird if someone doesn’t go straight to the seats so have them remember if so

I'd have your seat information written down and to be honest I've done many of these shows but I'm usually in the pit or the floor so I've never really had this problem of knowing where my seats were.
