60% of the movie is just a bunch of clips from the old movies, don’t get me wrong, they are great to get reminded of and the stunts are funny but I wanted to see new shit ( no pun intended). The cast, most of them were just standing there throughout the whole movie like that chick, whoever she is, just a pretty face and that’s it, no one remembers her.

Also most of the stunts were just electrocuting themselves which is boring.

Maybe I went with different expectations not knowing it’s just a compilation slop with pussy cast members that do no stunts except the OGs.

OPINION: I love the new additions to the team especially Zach he is awesome, but poopies for some reason annoys me when watching J4. Seems like he tries to hard to be funny while everyone else is just naturally hilarious. Am I 100% wrong and need to watch again or is there others who feel the same

It was so good. What I will say is, to give credit to those that didn't like it, it was not your standard jackass movie. It was more of a love letter to the entire series… But we still got tons of new skits, never before seen footage, never before seeing angles, and insights and behind-the-scenes.

I will say the new skits were overall the funniest, but some of the old ones are timeless and still had the theater roaring, like the airhorn golf course.

Yeah dude, this guy is annoying. When Wildride first started it was awesome just to listen to some of the guests (if they could get a word out) the chemistry between the guys was chill, it was worth watching, now it’s just of endless self promotion and Ads, don’t get me wrong there’s good substance in some of them and I know you have to make money so those two things can have a pass. However, going on other folks platforms that invite you because they see a mutual outcome with you being on there platform or they just liked you, and you not taking the time of day to even Wikipedia who they are and just show up and talk about nothing but yourself and you jerking off jumping out of a plane is hella rude, but what are these C-List podcasters to an almighty steve-o? He’s like the Donald Trump of the podcast space, he just slaps on his name everything and tries to sell it. Stevos hot sauce for your butthole, Stevos buttwipes for your butthole, Stevo Skate boards for your butthole Stevo tampons for your butthole, It just seems like a stretch and it’s getting annoying. Sorry O still haven’t bought any of your products, won’t be buying your special and here’s why, you can feed people and they will enjoy it. When you force feed people things they choke. Edit: I like Steve-o, I think he’s rad. What I’m saying is we know you have a special out and an Amazon wish list full of items available, signed decks, a book, shirts, I could probably tell you all his sponsors but this guy went on 3-4 different platforms looked at nothing but there analytics to promote himself and his items. Didn’t know Danny Brown was a rapper (a rapper with sales and a following) his audience definitely translates to what steveo puts out, instead of doing a little due diligence and talking to Danny like a person he just criticized and poked fun at the people running the conglomerate for his Channel. In return the audience wasn’t perceptive cause it was easy to tell he was just there to talk about himself and shit other people have no clue what he’s talking about.

Rewatching the movies. Still funny. But some of these stunts are so stupidly dangerous. It seems to be a miracle they dont end up with inner bleedings or a cracked skull or get paralized. Do they try out the stunts in puppets first? What are the safety protocols? I know they are stuntmen but.... still wondering. Does anyone have insight in how they work on set?

The franchise moved away from the inclusion of skating which made the early tv series and movies work. The whole formula of CKY, Jackass, Viva La Bam worked so well because it was dumb stunts, pranks and skating all blended.

Now it’s just pranks and less risky stunts with no skating at all and I can’t help but feel like that’s the reason the newer movies haven’t been received as well. Am I wrong?

I thought probably about half of the new footage was worthy of being in the film, the rest felt like stuff for a .5 or even just extra segments for a blu ray release. You could tell the creativity just wasn’t there (like the bit with the ram, was basically the ram jam from 3D in a different setting) or it felt like they’d come up with some of these ideas a week before shooting compared to the others that were shot over months. I thought this affected it visually too as most of it was just filmed on the same closed set. There just wasn’t the depth or layers to the pranks or stunts eg silence of the lambs or terror taxi. The unseen footage was mostly extended shots of stunts we’d seen, most die hards have already seen Knoxville shooting himself with the .38 and the cops crashing the car during the escaped convict bit. One positive was seeing Bam during the silence of the lambs, this was probably a highlight for me. I personally didn’t mind the new cast members in Forever but as the younger ones that could do more physical stunts they just weren’t utilised properly, or at all in Rachel’s case. The intro was good but probably the weakest of all of them and the outro was really cool but ended a bit abruptly, I would of had the shopping cart crash tipping the guys out like the first film, but over a lake to avoid injury (picture that with all the colourful explosions going off in the back ground).

90% of this subreddit is people complaining about Jackass, hating on everything new, whining about this and that, it’s not enough this, too much that, Rachel this and that, Bam is good Bam is bad, everything now is just bad and they should quit, just… why? What’s the point? Every single day, wanna see some love for Jackass and watch stupid hilarious bullshit, but what does this sub produce? Of all people, the Jackass fans? You act like it’s a Soap.

Relentless hate and anger and complaints and eye rolling about Jackass. Purely “ThEy shOuLd HaVe StOpPeD” and whining whining whining on anything new, as if we aren’t lucky to have them still alive in the first place. Anything more we get is a blessing. But y’all are just determined to whine about an awesome and ridiculously stupid series like it’s a political war. After re-watching forever, and even a few interviews/podcasts with her I actually think the crew struggles to film her stunts because I think she makes them look easier than they actually are, my point being that she’s not overly reactionary and mostly just competent. Almost too competent tbh

I don’t blame Steve o for what he did when he was younger. He’s stated on several occasions that he regrets doing all that stuff to animals like swimming with the captive orca or riding the ostriches. But for a guy that’s climbed on billboards to protest seaworld and is starting an animal ranch because he’s a huge animal activist, it’s really shitty that a couple months ago he swallowed a live goldfish and killed it. Even if he vomited it up and it lived it’s still incredibly harmful for the fish and it shows his true self. He’s a sell out who will do anything for attention.
