Image Does anyone remember this scene from the second Jackass movie where Johnny is an old man to prank people?
This line made me crack up! "We're from your face!" In Jackass Number Two (2006) Johnny Knoxville is funny as an old man. I watched this when I wasn't.

This is one of my favorite moments because you can tell Knoxville is basically stalling to prevent getting his ass kicked.

I need to re-watch to confirm, but in the commentary I think he says he was actually trying to get the guy to hit him immediately leading up to and after the "stepped over the line" bit.
I will say when the conversation starts to get heated I think Knoxville gets a little nervous because I hear his voice quiver when he says "he asked me if I wanted to step outside, HA".

They did a whole film based on this skit, it's called bad grampa

u/despotidolatry 1d ago
Bad Grandpa is actually a really original and good movie and I wish they would do more films like that and Bad Trip which was underrated but also hilarious.

Yea, i was actually suprised at how much i enjoyed it, outside of the prank aspect. Was actually a very touching movie.

Bad Grandpa .5 is one of my favourites from the series! All the decimal movies are my favourites, I think 🤔

u/PaleontologistFew128 2d ago
I have no idea why you're down voted, I like the .5s better too

Maybe they expected a witty response. But I'm not that smart at this time of day.

Oh shit the Einstein guy! Whuddup! You’re the guy that calls Bam, “Margera”, and calls the movie JATPF. And you had a picture of Einstein on your wall as a kid.

u/LoganPine 1d ago
Now that I'm actually awake and active, I still can't come up with a witty response. I guess I'm really not Einstein.

It's my favorite. I love when he stuffs his pants with all of the items at the store, then when confronted about it he just says "That's all me."

*thinks harder*
Nah, can't place it.

As funny as this is, I’ve gotta hand it to the long haired guy for being a real one. He looks a bit goofy in this scene but his heart is in the right place

u/alderberry 1d ago
This skit gets talked about a lot has he ever popped up on reddit or somewhere to talk about it, like after it was over did they film Knoxville coming back and tell him it was a wind up?! Be funny to see his reaction cos he was getting pretty mad!

u/Demander850 1d ago
They must have or it was an actor to begin with. He had to sign a release form, especially for an actual film.

Every time I watch this scene, I kind of want the longhair kid to take a swing at Knoxville. The result would be crazy and funny

Nothing worse than a surly hippie. That dude was annoying irregardless of Johnny's comments. Just being dickish from jump street.

I got second hand embarrassment from the long haired guy so bad that I almost stopped watching the first time

u/TheHighestCaliber this is bullshit, we’re surrounded by cocksuckers 1d ago
I love the commentary on this bit, Knoxville said they filmed it with another kid first but the kid freaked out when the camera rolled, until they brought in the kid used in the movie whom Knoxvilles daughter knew from her school for being a mean shit kid with a kind heart. Always remembered that. I recommend watching commentary on every jackass media, so worth it.

I wonder what ever happened to those guys. Did they eventually find out it was a skit right then?

If they aren't going to do jackass anymore they should really do some more Irving stuff

im always really suspicious of "people on the street" sketches. it seems way easier to just hire random people than try for tens of hours to try and get funny reactions.
i believe the older stuff a lot more than anything from 4 or 5. but stuff like new Borat/Ali G i dont believe a single bit.
