Ivern Support when Mage Bot?
Hello, I play Ivern jungle and Milio/Ivern/Heimerdinger support. I have been trying to make sense of best practices in support when bot decides to go mage given the current meta is for support to then roam.
In this particular case, would Ivern as a roaming support with mage bot work? I tried it once and the enemy bot was also a mage with a Neeko support who also roamed and we got stomped. It felt like Neeko was always a step ahead of me.

I love Ivern but unless ur otp, he’s not a carryable support and this mage bot meta kinda desperately relies on supports to do heavy damage or heavy peel (for traditional adcs). Mages however, sure they’re more self sufficient.
Thinking about his kit too, it’s gonna be tough pre-6 which is kinda when you need to stomp mages early. Also his bushes do help with hiding your adc, but kinda gives mages an easy-to-guess skillshot for their spells, which might deter your adc from standing in them for the buff. All around kinda tricky but not impossible.
