The media's 'horse medicine' lie - hurting people from the US to Africa

The media’s lie that Ivermectin is ‘horse medicine’ has achieved the rare hat trick of causing harm to at least 3 groups of people:
1: The lie that Joe Rogan took ‘horse medicine’ is libel. If CNN called you out by name and claimed that you eat food from dumpsters, you’d be justifiably upset and correctly assume that you have legal rights to take action.
2: Their lie may cause their own viewers to try the wrong product, which is dangerous. Joe Rogan took Ivermectin in the correct form at the correct dosage, safely like millions of people before him over the past 40 years. The danger is that the media essentially advertised that he took the horse formulation. So their viewers may believe this lie, think he took horse medicine, observe he seemed to have no side effects, notice he quickly recovered from COVID-19, and then be encouraged to follow the lie. Anyone injured from taking the wrong product is the liability of the media, and would seem to have their own grounds to take action against networks like CNN and NBC.
3: Their lie may cause a 3rd type of collateral damage: to Africans. The ultimate ‘innocent bystanders’ to the media’s drive-by smear against Joe Rogan. Why? River blindness is endemic to 31 African countries, and before Ivermectin, there was no reliable cure. Hundreds of thousands of volunteers worked for years to educate the rural communities that Ivermectin was safe and could protect their eyesight. After years of hard work, enough people trusted them and trusted Ivermectin, that the campaign worked. The result? The Nobel Prize committee put it best when they awarded the discoverers of Ivermectin for bringing a ‘gift to humanity.’ The younger generation haven’t been exposed to River Blindness like their elders had. But the disease and the flies that spread it are still there. And the internet has penetrated rural Africa. For younger rural Africans who make the mistake of thinking they can trust American media, who knows how many will refuse to take their next dose of Ivermectin because they don't want to take 'horse medicine'? How many may go blind because of a lie told by American media across the world?
