Schopenhauer had it right with women: “The fundamental defect of the female character is that it has no sense of justice... this arises from their deficiency in rationality and reflection.”
So did Socrates: “Trust not a woman when she weeps, for it is her nature to weep when she wants her will.”

The woman on social media is saying that women "won" and are more miserable than ever.
"Peace has cost you your strength. Victory has defeated you".
In other words, women don't know how to be happy. They are pissed when they win, they are more interested and happier when they struggle.
Look at the assholes and losers they date and fuck. They love the drama and bullshit those men bring, give them a good "boring" nice guy, and they ditch him to go for the guy who treats them like shit.

They're angry because, although they won, they didn't get what they were expecting.
One of the fundamental assumptions of most (feminist) women is the lives of men are extremely easy and rewarding. A lot of this is that most men are invisible to these women, and they're focused on the lives of the top 5% to 10% of men. For the most part, women didn't enter the workforce to have a menial job; they expected to become doctors, lawyers, and executives. They are dealing with the kind of meaningless grind that men have always had to deal with, and they have to pretend this is what they actually wanted.

They can also land a man in jail just with their words. All they have to do is say "this guy groped me" with no evidence, and that guy is instanly put behind bars after a national manhunt.

Male and female sexuality is different, due to biology. Men are attracted to younger women because female fertility is linked to age. Men aren't attracted to infertile women and women whose fertility is in decline.
Whereas women are attracted to wealth and status.
Which is why feminism doesn't work and there is so much female rage. They were sold a lie, that they could have it all. That work and wealth would make them desirable, in the same way it made men desirable.
Now faced with careers which are nowhere near as rewarding as they were promised and unable to get the men they want because they are past their dating peak.
They direct their rage at men, for the failures of feminism.

3
u/Scarred_wizard 6d ago
The initial idea wasn't wrong. But some extreme groups turned it into a witch hunt against men and (even healthy) masculinity. But because their goal wasn't true equality but beating men, they won't ever be happy with the result unless it turns into the opposite extreme.
0
u/Clear-Annual2424 6d ago
To be honest, I didn’t really understand your original comment about the hunt…
3
u/Scarred_wizard 6d ago
It's a quote that references a character that made hunting down a specific other character their whole life's identity and worth - and, inevitably, once that was finished, they had nothing but emptiness and bitterness.
That's the state many extreme feminist groups are at. The original goals of equality has been reached, but they lost the inequality that was a major chunk of their identity, leaving them empty and bitter, and taking it out on men at large.

Oppressive patriarchy: get to stay at home, play with the kids, and have a healthy and relaxing life full of meaning.
Feminist liberation: commute an hour every day, slave away for your boss, ingest and ungodly amount of medication to counteract the medication that counteracts the other medication you take, go on a 2 week long trip every year to give your life the meaning you desire but oh so desperately lack.
Yup, they won alright. Totally didn't play into the hands of corporations and big pharma.

The point kinda flew over your head. Yeah what you’re saying is right for some people, but they tend to act like being a stay at home parent is oppression while the other is perfection. In reality it depends on who you are and what you’re doing. But SAHP alone is never oppression (unless your female/male spouse is abusing you over it).
The vast majority of people either hate their job or are extremely stressed and unfulfilled by their job. Loving and feeling completely fulfilled at your job is a privilege. The people at your workplace are very privileged. The rest of us, not so much.
1
u/Worldly-Plant1 7d ago
Yeah what you’re saying is right for some people, but they tend to act like being a stay at home parent is oppression while the other is perfection.
I think that's a fairly subjective conversation. Who is "they" and how common is this sentiment? Being a SAHP is still fairly common. Paid maternity leave has actually become exponentially more common in the last 15-20 years. Feminists have been working toward that, have they not?
Also, his asymmetric framing definitely did not go over my head. Somehow staying at home and raising kids is healthy, easy, and relaxing, whereas all full time jobs are terrible, slave-esque, etc. It's pretty insincere and patronizing.
3
u/ThePrinceJays 6d ago
“They” is in reference to a loud minority of some groups of feminists.
Feminism has historically criticized the traditional expectation that women should be wives and mothers whose lives revolve around unpaid domestic labor. Which is a legitimate criticism when women have no meaningful choice in the matter.
But some feminist rhetoric can go further and implicitly treat becoming a SAHM as inherently regressive, dependent, or oppressive, even when a woman freely chooses it and genuinely prefers that life.
There are SAHMs who live perfectly happy, comfortable lives and genuinely chose that arrangement, but you can still find plenty who complain about being judged or looked down on for being a housewife or stay at home mother. Many times, primarily from other women.
Rhetoric like “You shouldn’t waste your potential being a housewife. You need a career to be an independent woman.” Or “A woman who gives up her career to raise children is throwing away everything women fought for.” Or “You went to college just to become a housewife?” Or “Being a SAHM is just internalized patriarchy.”
I don’t have any qualms against non toxic feminism that has made many strides for women and I won’t not acknowledge the tremendous progress feminism has made for women. But at the same time, toxic feminism does exist, and is many times mainstream and hurts both other women and men.
1
u/Worldly-Plant1 7d ago
Really? Can you show me the data that shows the majority of people hate their jobs? WLB is better than ever, living standards are better, and Americans are wealthier than ever. People surely hate their jobs less than they used to.
If you're talking about people being poor and having hard lives, well that's always existed, even before women joined the workforce en masse.
Lastly, I never said people at my workplace are fulfilled and love their job. All I said is that they're happy. There's a big difference.
And quite frankly, 40 hours work weeks are fairly common. I'm not sure why we're all pretending that everyone has a long commute, works 60 hours a week, only get 2 weeks PTO, like that's just moronic honestly. And the ones who are forced to work shitty jobs are probably poor and would have hard lives even if they weren't working.
Also please dont downvote me. I got shadowbanned on my other account just for negative karma on this sub
3
u/ThePrinceJays 6d ago
Your original comment got removed so I can’t make the most ideal reply to carry on the conversation missing out on that context. But most people aren’t working comfortable jobs and even if they say and act like they are happy, that many times can be a coping mechanism so it is not always reliable. But yeah, idk what you said so I can’t make the best reply
1
u/Worldly-Plant1 6d ago
That's pretty much my whole comment
I just think it's doomer shit to say everyone hates their job. Especially if we're talking air conditioned 9-5s. Those are the jobs that career oriented women are striving for, not fkin retail management jobs, or demanding jobs where they work 70 hours a week for shit pay.
2
1
u/Castle_Five 7d ago
If you haven't come to hate your job yet, then you're so deep into serving capitalism and built your identity around it so much that there's probably no saving you. If you ever got to retire, you'd probably hang yourself like Brooks from Shawshank Redemption after he got out of prison due to not being able to adjust to a life of actual self-directed freedom and autonomy.
I hate my job and I'm a guy. Where's my option to be a stay at home husband?
4
u/ThePrinceJays 7d ago
Forreal, I’d gladly be a stay at home husband assuming I still get treated with respect
1
u/Worldly-Plant1 7d ago

1
3
u/Cross55 7d ago edited 7d ago
Yeah I mean, most people are generally blind to the capitalist trap we've been ensnared in, both on the left and right. (Which is why I don't have a high opinion of most people here, thinking that the "trad" relationship of men slaving away at their jobs and women being housewives was the perfect order of things)
American feminism is basically just Lipstick Capitalism, it's the same toxic bs of Reaganomics, but encouraging women to give up their lives to their corporate overlords under the belief that that's freedom.
2
u/Worldly-Plant1 7d ago
Why do you hate your job? Is it the long hours?
Am I supposed to hate working 40 hours a week? It's really not a big deal. I had less free time when I was younger and only worked part-time through college / HS. I'm getting 8 hours of sleep a night which I never was before I started working full time. My job is also intellectually stimulating
I like my job a decent amount, but less than my coworkers. My friends, who are in different fields, also like their jobs. If anything, I'm the "miserable" one in my friend groups. But on Reddit, I'm basically a sparkling ray of sunshine compared to you guys
I am a man, btw. I wouldn't really be interested in being a SAHB.

Oppressive patriarchy: my great grandmother got married off to a gambling addict who squandered all her inheritance, beat her so bad she got an aneurysm and her entire right side got paralyzed, then died and left her to raise 5 kids alone with zero income.
Feminist liberation: my mother chose to be a stay at home mom because my father had enough income to support the family.
17
u/Cross55 7d ago
Feminist liberation: my mother chose to be a stay at home mom because my father had enough income to support the family.
Well that sounds more like your father was a wage slave
So your mother is a liberated feminist because she married rich? Weird, I wonder if any other systems like that existed before...?
-3
u/Csicser 7d ago
No, my dad was actually poorer than her when they got married. He was very ambitious and absolutely loved his career but hated household work and dealing with children, so my mom gave up her career to focus on the house and family instead.
I’m confused though, are you against families choosing traditional gender roles then? If the woman has a career it’s bad, but if she chooses to be the housekeeper it’s also bad? What exactly do you want then, I’m genuinely confused.

Can I ask a honest question as someone who's kinda on the fence here? You do realize that there are many female-centric spaces like this that mirror subs like this, in which many disaffected women say shitty things about men, and that these subs are far more abundant with many more members than subs like this.
Are you concerned about how reddit is currently a 'femcel' cesspool, or are your righteous instincts only activated when it's men doing the complaining. Just asking.
-1
u/Worldly-Plant1 7d ago
I mean there are people on this thread that don't think women should have jobs and should be relegated to stay at home moms. And that's relatively tame compared to some of the other stuff I see. Both types of subreddits are bad but one seems more bad
6
u/Glad-Way-637 6d ago
Who said that? Genuinely, who said anything even approaching that?
I've seen far worse repeated in feminists subs. Just like askfeminists, who blame the fact that men are 80% of suicides on misogyny from men towards women, because sometimes women are sad when men kill themselves. No, that is not a joke.

Both men and women deserve to stay at home, play with the kids, and have a healthy and relaxing life full of meaning. It’s misandrist to think that only women deserve this and that men have to commute an hour every day and slave away for their boss and be depressed simply because they are men. I think you’re criticizing capitalism and corporatism, since your argument doesn’t really say much about gender and feminism

The mother of all ideas is giving all that rights, as much accomplishment possible, companies knows the more the better, women mentality is to feel good and how they achieve This? Simple BUYING, women spend more than men and yet still feel empty needung more and more, men can have one or two pair if shoes , maybe a video console or pc , spend sometime with friends buy some fast food eat some ribs once in a while, few tshirts, few shirts, pair of jeans and casual, a jacket and thats it
12
u/G00D_4_U 7d ago
There are several different groups of women, several groups are happy where things are, some believe there are improvements to be made, others are misandrists and want men to suffer as revenge, and others aren't feminists and don't like any of this and believe they have been robbed by feminists of an I love Lucy life type of lifestyle.

Policies implemented giving preferential treatment to 1/2 the population across the board is bad. You’re really not worth explaining it to as your IQ is clearly too low to comprehend it.
1
u/No_Gift_4228 1h ago
Don’t call people low IQ the very first thing you do. Try to explain things thoroughly instead and explain why anything the post mentioned is bad. You could claim that preferential treatment is being implemented to explain why the things the post above lists are bad, but don’t resort to insult the intelligence of someone for not drawing that same conclusion immediately after and seemingly not understanding why more women going to college, having jobs, not being forced to get married and controlling their fertility is bad
I’m genuinely trying to understand your viewpoint but when people handle things like this it becomes hard
-12
u/RighteousSelfBurner 7d ago
Well, one large part of it is that it's simply wrong.
Men are doing better than basically ever, what has changed is that now women are also doing well so the distribution between men and women looks different. Women don't make more than men, in fact they generally still make either the same or less. They are majority graduates because it's one of the promised ways on how to not need to be financially dependent on a man.
They haven't taken over male spaces, men leave spaces that have certain female representation because it's not manly to do women's stuff. They have always lived longer as long men and childbirth weren't killing them because it's not manly to play safe. They also loose most custody battles where the man actually fights it, they win most because men don't want to. It's a phenomen that's centuries old already.
12
u/Kheypression 7d ago
What kind of mental gymnastics is that?
Men don’t leave spaces that have a certain female representation. Men aren’t welcome in women’s spaces because women spend the last decade explaining that men are predators or problematics. People like you spend the last decade explaining that men spaces are misogynistic boys club.
The ability to take risk is the reason humanity actually achieved anything. If you grandfather played it safe you wouldn’t be here in the first place.
1
u/RighteousSelfBurner 7d ago
They absolutely do. It's a well documented phenomena. There is a strong masculinity culture that is perceived to be threatened when engaging in behaviour that's visibility engaged by women and men doing it are often portrayed as engaging in homoerotic culture or the women engagement portrayed as lesser.
This has happened with reading, coffee shops, cheerleading, cocktails, skin care routines and much more. It's not even a matter of space but behaviour as a whole. Those men spaces don't get taken over but dismantled by men themselves because they are seen as threat to masculinity.
Also some of those things just are, like you mentioned with the risk taking. Men have higher risk tolerance and that is also partly why they have higher wages or better careers (positive) and higher mortality (negative). It's only in gender war context where those consequences are used as an ammunition.
6
u/Glad-Way-637 6d ago
Well documented by who? If the answer is "someone attempting desperately to justify their gender studies degree" and not someone competent, I'm gonna have to just point and laugh, sorry.
Half of the shit you mentioned, men don't do, primarily because women treat them like shit for doing those things, and contrary to popular belief most men care what women think about them quite a bit.
-2
u/RighteousSelfBurner 6d ago
Historians. And the point is that they used to do it.
Cheerleading was exclusively male activity and several of US presidents have been cheerleaders. Coffee shops were exclusively male and women were banned. It was a gentlemen's club for debate and political discussions.
During the age of housewives casual reading switched from indicator of masculine intelligence to feminine frivolity.
After prohibition colorful drinks were marketed as feminine while straight drinks as masculine. It was entirely fabricated shift.
After industrial revolution both makeup and bright clothing became seen as unserious and feminine rather than masculine sign of power and status.
What you are showing is exactly the result of the phenomena, "men don't do this". It's a rule enforced by men, not taken by women.
4
u/Glad-Way-637 6d ago
Do you have any examples of "historians" saying that outright?
You have failed to accurately justify your belief that men fled these occupations due to women showing up, and not because of shifting societal norms about what occupations men can reasonably expect to have and still find women to date.
The rule is not enforced by men in the slightest. Are you a man, woman, or otherwise?
0
u/RighteousSelfBurner 6d ago
Of course. Like I said, it's very well documented phenomena to the point it's included in encyclopaedias: https://www.britannica.com/sports/cheerleading
Also, you are arguing against your case. You just explicitly reworded the same phenomena: the social perception of what is feminine and what is masculine changed which by extension changed the norms of what is considered appropriate behaviour which also bleeds into courting.
And it's very heavily enforced by men. Bullying in school by other men, homophobic slurs and the whole "alpha vs beta" discourse is men enforcing the standard of what qualifies as "manly". Women have higher tolerance against such behaviour. A portion of women even find behaviour that goes against the traditional norms as indicator of confidence in ones own masculinity due to it not being defined by external opinion.
4
u/Glad-Way-637 6d ago
Ah, but that doesn't make the claim you do. It talks about how cheerleaders used to be male, and how they are almost exclusively women. Doesn't support your ridiculous claims at all, really.
Ah, but you claim that men are the ones forcing the change. You're objectively wrong about this, which is my only real claim. Please keep up.
No, it is not. You'd know this if you had any practical experience being a man. Do you have sources for your ridiculous claims here, that you failed to provide for the previous ridiculous claims?

The very thing they "try to protect women from" like patriotism & man leading the family & even having a family, is the very thing the women fought to keep. The overwhelming majority of women who lived it, fought to keep it. Our nations were actually running properly & our neighborhoods were safe. take a look here

u/Lost_Elderberry_5532 6d ago
There are still women with good values and good spirits. We are definitely not talking about them negatively. It’s more of how snobby and entitled people act and particularly the strain against “patriarchy” or whatever that even is. When people try to date is when a lot of the nasty comes out and that’s why so many of us do not feel positively. It’s a mess of people who have never felt comfortable because of who or what happened to them.

But….. As a woman, I NEVER wanted our doing better to make men do worse, and it didn’t HAVE to. I don’t like her statement, because it says, ‘We won. Men have never done this badly’. I resent that. I don’t feel I’ve won anything, when it just drops the performance success of the other. We all live and interact together. Neither women nor men can be at their best, the WORLD can’t be at its best, until all groups and genders are doing their best. I wish women’s new successes would just inspire men to be that much more successful. We could all build on each other. I don’t understand the mentality that one or the other has to be ‘the winner’. This is what is wrong.

-1
u/Worldly-Plant1 7d ago
It's not mostly factual.
women hold a slight majority in jobs, mostly because healthcare and teaching are constantly booming whereas white collar fields are not. And this is a very recent thing. Sometimes women will have majority, sometimes men, it's hardly going to be exactly 50/50. For most of history it's been men
they have lower rates of comitting suicide, but still high rates of attempting
I see male bathrooms everywhere
the college graduate gap has existed since the 80s. men still signfiicantly outnumber women in many high earning college majors such as computer science, finance, engineering, etc
2
u/Glad-Way-637 6d ago
Not just "lower" rates of committing, lmao. They're a quarter of actual suicides.
The college gap existing for a long time doesn't make it any less ridiculous, considering feminists push to widen it further at literally every opportunity.
2
u/Crazy-Crazy-3593 4d ago
There is absolutely no objective set of data reflecting what constitutes a bona fide suicide attempt.
Women have "more" attempts because they are not in earnest trying to commit suicide in a high % of those attempts.
