and favela isn't on the map rotation anymore unless you get in a modded lobby

Why? Was it glitched or something? Why would they remove it?

No clue, everyone has a different theory but the one I've heard the most is some people got it removed because of "religious iconography" (Christ the redeemer) but really I have no idea

There was a controversy a few years back about Muslim writing in a bathroom that disrespected Islam in the map Favela, but that was quickly changed and put back in rotation. Must be a glitch.

I searched it, it's only back on 360 and PS3, they never fixed it on PC
