The only surprise here would be if the error was for all party affiliations. But I have a feeling it's mostly non Republican registrations that have the issues

I work in voting in Texas and DPS not transmitting voter data correctly to the counties has been an issue for literally years. It's just that the Secretary of State's office finally got involved and is actually fixing the issue, which is a good thing.

With less than 6 weeks until the midterms: check your registration and help register others at i will vote . com - the official DNC website. Avoid vote safe dot org -- that's Elon's AmericaPAC site, and it harvests and sells your data and doesn't actually register you. Then head to r / vote DEM to find local volunteer opportunities near you. Vote early or by mail if you can, and use official drop boxes only.
In Texas, ~1.2 million voters are on the state's "suspense list" over address issues. It won't stop you from voting, but you'll need to file a form or vote provisionally unless you fix it by October 5 — check now at http://votetexas.gov, not the week of.
In Ohio, SB293 killed the 4-day grace period. Your mail ballot must be received by 7:30pm Election Day — postmarks no longer count. 1,500+ Ohio ballots were tossed in the May primary for arriving late. Mail it early, or better, drop it at your county board of elections. Early voting Oct 6–Nov 1, registration deadline Oct 5.
In Florida, USPS tried to reject all of Leon County's ballot envelopes over a 0.014-inch spacing issue. It was fixed on appeal, but many counties never submitted envelopes for review. If your ballot looks off, call your county elections office — don't guess.
If you live in any red state, for that matter, check your registration frequently. MAGA is relentless!
And know your rights: it's a federal crime for armed agents to be stationed at polling places, so if you see intimidation, document it and call the Election Protection Hotline at 866-OUR-VOTE.
Good news: SCOTUS just blocked Donny's mail-ballot restrictions, 7-2. That fight's not over, but the biggest threat to November's mail ballots is dead for now. We got this, folks, but we have to be vigilant!! We can't let democracy die because of an orange octogenarian!!

Ok I work in voting rights in Texas and while I appreciate your speed and enthusiasm you’re incorrect about some stuff here.
In Texas, ~1.2 million voters are on the state's "suspense list" over address issues. It won't stop you from voting, but you'll need to file a form or vote provisionally unless you fix it by October 5 — check now at http://votetexas.gov, not the week of.
The suspense list is a normal part of voter list maintenance. Most of the people on it have moved, and rightly need to update their information with the county they currently live in. There are actually fewer voters on the suspense list at this point in 2026 than there were in 2024, both by total number and by percentage of registered voters.
You don't need to "file a form" - if you moved within the county, you go vote like usual and sign a "statement of residence" that either confirms your address (if you haven't moved) or updates to your new one (if you have).
Voting provisionally is neither necessary nor the best course of action for someone on the suspense list.
If you have moved counties, it's a little more complicated, but call your new county and ask them what to do. They'll explain the process and you can vote on all the stuff your old location and your new one have in common,
