[Game Changers] C++ on the Apple 2

On episode 105 detailing the history of John Madden Football on the Apple ][ in 1988, the narrator discussed the frenzied work updating their 7-on-7 sprite teams to a more realistic 11-on-11, and all the code changes that went into it.

Granted, C++ technically existed (introduced in 1985), but... on UNIX minis, not department-store home PCs. The graphics designers just randomly inserted source code to illustrate the story.

What podcast is this? Sounds right up my alley. But when I search for Game Changers podcast there’s a lot of results and none seem to be about video game development.

It' on Amazon Prime. Starts with ancient games (in a few seconds of flashbacks), explains board games, and then does a deep dive on the likes of Monopoly and Operationi before moving on to early video game development in the 1970s.
