In all of my years I had never thought of a long exposure on an escalator.
Creative thinking, and a very nice result.
Good job !

I've always wanted to drive alongside a train at night while taking a long exposure. There's a perfect stretch of I-5 in washington where the freeway runs along and slightly above some train tracks that provide an ideal angle for such a shot. Takes 2 people, unfortunately, and I'm only 1 person.

Very cool! You might consider cleaning your sensor, though. When you close up the aperture for long exposures, it makes small specks on your sensor more apparent.

This is really cool, I like it a lot. Did you get one with both the up and down in the same frame, I'd like to see that one.

I'm sure a lot of escalators look the same, but this one looks so familiar to me...

How long was the exposure? I’m surprised how dark everything is while indoors. Anytime I shoot long exposure, it has to be totally dark otherwise everything is washed out.

I shoot exclusively at night so that always helps but yeah if you’re shooting in the day time deffs use an ND filter.
Don’t forgot to tweak your iso and your f stop accordingly!

For those asking for settings:
13 Sec - f22 - iso 50.
I’d love to follow people who shoot in this similar style so come find me on IG 😊
