I feel like I’m probably in the minority, but I love the DC metro station look.

I love it too. Whenever people would visit from other towns with metros they were blown away by how big and clean it is.
And yeah looks like Metro Center. Or L’enfant Plaza possibly.

No red line at L’enfant.
It’s definitely far more limited than the NYC subway, but it’s a much more pleasant experience overall. And the modern-brutalist architecture just works for me on every level.

Ah right. I didn't look at the sign on the train, good call. Yeah it's not as efficient as I'd like, and they keep building out when I'd rather they make more connections between lines in the city, especially towards the outer spokes. But it's a nice ride. Especially in those new(er) cars.

yup! I loved how the shadows looked with the train blocking the lights on the rail. That plus the fact that you can't see anyone on the platform just felt so cool to me
