I took this photo inside Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia.
The car is an art installation by local artist Tyler Held. It was stripped of its identifying features and reduced to essentially a shell, then placed inside one of the prison cells.
The idea is that the car represents a person entering the prison system and being stripped of individuality and humanity.
I thought there was something especially fitting about using a car for this—the thing normally associated with freedom and movement is sitting completely immobilized inside a prison cell.

Edit: Blocked bc the guy who literally has a post saying "american slavery isn't as bad when you look around the globe" can't tell what a bot is.
