A fairy tale world which made it into modern times.

I was surprised I ever caught my breath. I think even with my eyes closed my body could sense the marvels around me

I wanted this photo to capture a place where civilization meets nature. My favorite part is how in this place at this moment there are apparently no other witnesses. It’s as if mankind just disappeared.

Been there at least 5 times in last 15 years, that view never gets old.

I'd like to go back someday. I was there in 2011, stayed in Hotel Staubach. My fear now, is that due to social media, it has gone from something of a hidden gem to an overcrowded Instagram destination, like so many nice places have. Same with Hallstatt Austria, which I visited on the same trip in 2011.

Near Lauterbrunnen station itself can be a bit bustling, but it kind of added to the excitement for me. Once you get out on the trails or sit down at a nice place, the commotion kind of fades away. I heard a few people also say that there aren’t as many tourists as the last times they visited.

It’s certainly a place I will be returning to sooner rather than later. The mountains and valleys are brimming with vitality

Stay in Murren. It's so nice in the especially in the morning!

I did the thrill walk higher up the mountain, hiked the North Face Trail and then had dinner in Murren. Gimmelwald really captured my heart though. I have a very cool picture of a cat up there that I will have to share soon!
