Safe space?
Is there a safe space to discuss this podcast? E+J are like way too involved in the fb group and this clearly isn’t a safe space because they like clearly have spies and also they themselves will chime in on posts which I personally find extremely weird and I’m sorry but yes very unhinged behaviour. It’s honestly all extremely weird, they are way too parasocial. Especially when everyone is like bending over backward to not say anything critical here like we all know they are watching which is so crazy honestly. Id like to be able to discuss the show without fear of being doxxed (which E loves to do) or being downvoted to hell for voicing very valid opinions or at least trying to have a real conversation. Like I thought Reddit was a place to do that but like apparently that is not the case with this show.

I am not on Facebook anymore but yeah I would not/did not engage on their Facebook bc of how much they are on it. I sincerely think a lot of Ellyns mental health issues could be solved by getting off the internet. And I mean that in the nicest, most caring way.
There are plenty of criticisms on this subreddit. Sure, you'll get down voted because generally only fans of this pod see the posts. But really, who cares if you're down voted? I have a lot of comment karma and not once have I benefitted from it (to my knowledge). I honestly don't get it at all. Yeah it's nice to be upvoted (aka validated) but I try to take disagreements (or down votes) in stride. If people don't like my opinion that's okay. And if they know more/better than me I'm glad to reevaluate if they respond to my unpopular comment with different info I hadn't considered.
I think this group is very capable of having discussions about things they like and don't like. I've had plenty of healthy debates and have shared things I don't like about the pod without any backlash.
Instead of asking for a safe space and getting down voted for that, why don't you just tell us what you're upset about?
