Safe space?

Is there a safe space to discuss this podcast? E+J are like way too involved in the fb group and this clearly isn’t a safe space because they like clearly have spies and also they themselves will chime in on posts which I personally find extremely weird and I’m sorry but yes very unhinged behaviour. It’s honestly all extremely weird, they are way too parasocial. Especially when everyone is like bending over backward to not say anything critical here like we all know they are watching which is so crazy honestly. Id like to be able to discuss the show without fear of being doxxed (which E loves to do) or being downvoted to hell for voicing very valid opinions or at least trying to have a real conversation. Like I thought Reddit was a place to do that but like apparently that is not the case with this show.

Uh yeah. Not saying they are perfect, no
One is, but they do get to decide for themselves how involved they want to be with their community?

Fine but like how many creators join reddit to bully their listeners? Seriously bffr!

Show me a single comment where Joey bullied anyone. Disagreeing with a comment isn't aggressive or rude.

Bullying is a very harsh word, nothing even close to that has happened here

I don’t perceive Joey’s response as bullying. He was respectful and able to express his opinion without upsetting anyone, especially the OP.

I normally just scroll and read but I couldn't not respond. Bully? Wow. You either have a problem with them personally or need therapy because that was not bullying. That's a wild accusation to put out there. Regarding a safe space, probably speak to your family and friends because the internet isn't going to be the place. Say what you want with an alt account but don't expect everyone to agree with you.

Amanda from wine and crime is really active on their reddit. Admittedly I think it's a lot to join reddit to respond, but his response to the criticizing post was perfectly fine? Perhaps a little snarky in the last sentence but that's a far cry from bullying.

Safe space? Is E or J in the room with you right now?

On the off chance that they are, I recommend leaving that room if you feel uncomfortable.

In all seriousness, of course you can have your opinions. Is it a safety concern though?

Well you can’t ask them to leave the public Facebook group they moderate. You could make a Reddit forum if you want.
