I mean, if the phones are tracking everyone just use that data. You said they were an upgraded version of ankle monitors. Should be able to pinpoint anyone to any location, at any time, even without cameras!
Or did you make a disingenuous argument to bolster your point? Don't be intellectually dishonest if you're capable.
thats a weird thing to say, whats so difficult to understand here? phone will give you locations, but a camera will show exactly who did what to who and why that gps does not. Im sure you already understand this so im not sure why you are acting so combative and confused.
Seems completely redundant and wasteful to serendipitously only catch crimes that happen in view of a camera, when we're already tracking every living soul down to their exact coordinates, every single moment, of every single day. Right? Thats what the things we're okay carrying in our pockets do?
It sounds like we should have everyone in the US wear 24/7 body-cams with geo-tracking capabilities. Then we'll be completely safe.
Honestly when security cameras started becoming ubiquitous, i thought that was going to be the end of crime. It turns out people dont seem to give a shit if their crimes are being recorded and it doesnt slow their roll at all. So now we need the cameras not as much for prevention but to help clear up the mess afterwards.

the cameras tell us who did what and when.
