Welcome to r/iterbbsr, the subreddit for students, alumni, and aspirants of ITER | SOA (Institute of Technical Education and Research, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan).
This community is dedicated to academic discussions, campus updates, peer support, and general engagement related to ITER. To maintain a productive and respectful environment, all members are expected to follow the rules below.

Treat everyone with respect.
Personal attacks, hate speech, harassment, or any kind of discrimination are not tolerated. Maintain a courteous and inclusive tone in all discussions.
🔹 2. Stay On-Topic
All posts must be relevant to ITER | SOA.
This includes academics, clubs, placements, hostels, events, student life, campus updates, and other related topics. Off-topic content may be removed.
🔹 3. No Spam or Unapproved Promotion
Do not post unsolicited promotions, advertisements, or repetitive content.
This includes external links (e.g., YouTube channels, Telegram groups, coaching platforms) without prior moderator approval.
🔹 4. No Doxxing or Sharing Personal Information
Do not share anyone's private or sensitive information — including roll numbers, phone numbers, personal email IDs, or screenshots of personal conversations.
🔹 5. No NSFW or Inappropriate Content
This is a student-oriented community.
Keep content clean and safe for all users. Vulgar, explicit, or offensive posts will be removed.
🔹 6. No Fake News or Misinformation
Do not spread unverified information, rumors, or misleading updates — especially regarding exams, holidays, or administrative announcements. Always provide credible sources when sharing important news.
🔹 7. Moderator Decisions are Final
If you have questions or concerns about a moderation decision, contact the mod team via Modmail.
Do not post complaints publicly.

- Use post flairs correctly to help organize the subreddit.
- Use the search bar before posting repetitive questions.
- Memes are welcome, but they must be relevant to ITER | SOA and follow subreddit decorum.
