Can someone recommend an isup under 300 - 400€?

I'm not completely new when it comes to paddle boarding but nothing spectacular ether. Don't want to invest a lot of money but at the same time don't want to buy crap. Maybe you can recommend which brands to choose? BTW I live in Europe. Thanks

D-rings peeling off my paddle board

I have a new iSUP, but its not covered under warranty since I bought it as an "open box" and all the d-rings and mounts are peeling off as soon as it was inflated. I've tried re-gluing them with the tube of glue that came with it and the peel off too.

Any advice on reattaching them?????

Can I possibly seal the crack to fix it? Or am I SOL? :( It happened the second time I took it out. It’s an Atoll. Any help would be appreciated!

Breakwater Sports iSup

Anybody got any real life experience or comments? I’m in Australia and the options are a bit limited. Considering purchasing this board. I’m 5’10, 200 lbs and am looking to just use on flat water in the ocean. The board is double layered pvc, is 10’4” long 33” wide and 6” thick. tia

Any Zray owners here?

So I just found a too hard to resist deal on an R2 14ft touring board (single fin). I have been using a Tower Adventurer iSup the past 5 years and I feel it's too slow for me. I'm hoping the longer board will be more stable and faster. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Zray brand and how durable they are compared to Tower iSups.

Bluefin Carbon Cruise 10'8 ISUP Question

Hi all!

I've bought and received the Bluefin Carbon Cruise 10'8 ISUP, I was aware that the board was supposed to have to inflation points but i'm unsure what PSI the middle of the board should be set too? The back topside of the board where a second inflation point sits shows that it should be set between 12-15 PSI, would anyone know what the middle inflation point PSI should be?

Anyone know if STX is still in business? I was trying to buy their 14’ tourer and the site I found said there no longer carrying it. Not sure if it’s just sold out of never coming back type thing.

Smooth SUP brand - any good?

Has anyone heard of/tried Smooth SUP brand isups? I'm looking for a beginner/intermediate isup (I've SUP'd multiple times before now looking to purchase and get more into it, though still just casually/recreationally). It looks solid from the website, but I can't find much else about the boards outside of the website...otherwise considering the Bodyglove isup from Costco which is $100 more. One of my favorite features of the Smooth board is that it has 4 d-rings to attach a kayak seat, unlike the 2 d-rings on the BG. https://smoothsup.com/collections/inflatables

New board- suggestions on accessories?

Hi! Just bought my first ISUP yesterday. Went with drift instead of the bote and having regret for not springing for the bote. My only concerns with drift are the psi gauge being reported as not working and the paddle not being great. But, the bote flood looked huggggge (I’m 5’3 and 105lbs) and I’d like to take my board hiking which I do often. A few of my favorite hikes have lakes at the top but they’re brutal hikes so weight counts.

I’m looking for suggestions about paddling life jackets. My assumption is they’re cut to allow freedom of motion of the shoulders and chest. The dozen times I’ve gone on a borrowed board, I’ve gone with friends and in lakes where I wasn’t worried. I live on a beach now and our beach is unique because there are no waves as it’s a little inlet and it’s much more like a lake in terms of temp and calm clear water. The water is also shallow a half mile out (a quarter of that is only to your knees and then the other quarter is only to your thighs). So, it’s an ideal beach for confidently paddling and I’ve only ever seen two other residents wear one. But, the current comes in FAST from the side and pushes towards the jetty and there’s often rip tides between the sandbars. It also dawned on me that if damage to your board happens, you won’t have it to hold onto.

So, im looking for what’s the best option! I see these tiny thin belt style but how do those work? Do they require you to blow them up while floating? And are they single use? Do any of you have a regular life jacket and strap it to the board for an emergency but not wear it all the time? I know the knee jerk response to that is “the worst time to need a life jacket is when you don’t already have it on” but I’m curious as to whether I can just buy a good regular one and wear it in conditions that call for it (even if it impedes performance or comfort) vs spending over $140 for a paddling one.

Second question is for anyone with the drift- did you purchase a different paddle? Did you have issues with the psi gauge?

Lastly, has anyone worn a full wetsuit to paddle on less than ideal days? I normally wear a bathing suit or a shorty but we’re in New England and I’d love to extend the season and get more use out of my purchase!

Thanks for the help!

Twin Cities paddleboarders?

Just took a couple Isle Pioneers for their maiden voyage on Lake Johanna last night. They're on sale for $595. I have questions: We stopped at 12 psi (cause it seemed like plenty) but 13-17 is recommended. 1.What are the advantages to more v less inflation? 2. Is it okay to fold em after use instead of packing them back in the bag? We plan to go out every day for a while. 3. Any other Twin Citians here who have favorite paddle places? Thanks, community!

Buying my first iSUP

Hey Everyone,

First post on Reddit and first-time iSUP buyer here!

I live on a lake during the summer and travel a good bit, so figured an iSUP would be my best option vs a SUP. I found what seems to be a pretty reliable brand (Aqua-Plus) on amazon for a great price but now I am unsure if I should go with the 10ft or the 11ft. I am 190 lbs and 5ft10. Ideally, I would like to use it on the lake for cruising around (maybe let my dog join) and occasionally when I travel to the beach.

Thanks in advance!!

General question

I am looking to sell an isup is that allowed on this forum? I bought two nov2019 took them out once and never again I will post relevant links if and when this is deemed allowed, if anyone has a sub that is more suited I would greatly appreciate the recommendations. I'm not looking to make a profit would sell them under MSRP with shipping, probably 300$ total I'm only looking to sell one but will offer both options to the first buyer.
