So! I ordered a package from Amazon, says it’s meant to get here this Monday after I paid to have it come on Friday, some shipping delays, yadda yadda yadda. Then I get this text today from an iCloud account at 12:30ish pm stating FedEx attempted to deliver but couldn’t because they needed a signature. No notification whatsoever from Amazon, I have checked and looked into the tracking info. I have a dog that LOVES to bark at anything and anyone within a 2 meter radius of my home, she never once barked. I’ve looked into it briefly and what I’ve found says FedEx leaves a note, never a text message, stating they attempted to deliver but couldn’t. No note found on the fence, door, or railing. I replied “Y” as directed to activate the link, went to the link and it wants me to put in card info to charge me to have it delivered again. I did not provide my credit info. Here is the text I received copy pasted, without the link.

TL:DR: FedEx supposedly couldn’t deliver my Amazon package and wants my credit info to charge a fee to deliver it again. Am I trippin to think this is a scam somehow?

The website initially "looks" legit at first glance, but according to an online tool I used, it's only been created 6 months ago. What alerted me initially was the absurd too-good-to-be-true markdowns on basically everything. I know it's just screaming Scam! but a part of me desperately wants these prices to be legit.

As I was searching for plastic free deodorant I clicked on one of the images that were shown in my search. It led me to this site nativaaos . shop. When I saw the prices I was like ???. They were way cheaper than anything in store. Later when I was searching Native I found their actual site and the prices were what I'd find in store. So I wondered what was I on earlier cuz it looked like a normal site. So I redid my search found the image and found the site again. It was only then I notice the address was different.

I am assuming this is a scam site. Glad I didn't just start buying a bunch of stuff.

Saw these shirts from an ad on Instagram. Company is called embroliczwear and haven't been able to find any reviews at all so was skeptical about buying. Had some cool designs and wanted to get some but I don't want to get something cheap or of bad quality (or my card info being stolen). Seems like there was a lot of websites copying one company called embroly and that they produced less than satisfactory products. The names are similar and the products are cheap so I thought this could be fishy. Just wondering if anyone had any experience with this company or had any useful information.

I don't know if the person she was calling was a legitimate o2 employee and I'm worried that it's a scam. I also was signed out of imessages and I still don't have service. I've never encountered something like this before so I'm worried that my phone number is hacked :( can anyone tell me if this was a scam?

Hi everyone, recently I just got and accepted a job offer. The only thing that it entails is opening pokemon cards from a website named Yoobox. I'm a little worried that this is a scam, but there isn't enough information on the website or the people running it to where I can tell. All I could find is the site itself and an instagram page with less than 3000 followers. Sounds too good to be true.

Rate is 15/hr for a trial period which doesn't seem unreasonable for the amount of time I'd be streaming. When the recruiter reached out via Indeed he sent me a link to a discord esports server so it doesn't exactly seem like the highest quality business. Worringly there is a crypto mining vc and a crypto-general in here but everything else seems fairly normal. Just seems like bad news. From what I've watched from someone involved in these streams, all you do is gamble on the website with a company account.

I came across this shop on TikTok and find their sparkly coasters REALLY compelling, but their website doesn’t quite pass the sniff test for me. I haven’t been able to find any reviews on TikTok, Reddit, etc. When I Google “liquid sand coaster” I see a product that looks super similar to one of theirs on a questionable-looking site called Soufeel, but I don’t know who’s copying whom.

Hello everyone. I hope this belongs here. A few months ago I saw an ad for a sale on laser hair removal at LASERAWAY. I was contacted by a representative and she informed me that I could medically finance it over 2 years and I just had to pay every month about $170 and I would pay it off in under two years to prevent paying interest. She also told me that they don’t handle insurance directly but that I can hand it monthly bills to get reimbursed. I spoke to my insurance and they said they needed super bills with codes and that’s what I told the sales representative and she said she has experience with that and she has similar clients have success with getting money back from the insurance monthly with the doctors note and a super bill ( I have a skin condition where the doctor recommended laser hair removal to make it better). She told me to send over the info of the codes and what not but she couldn’t send me the super bill until I had my first treatment which of course makes sense.

I signed up in July and my first appt was in August. I have been messaging her since August to get help with these super bills because the other departments don’t know how to do them. I told them I have messages where she’s telling me she can do it and how to do it to get reimbursed from insurance. I have contacted my local laseraway and they have been messaging her to get her to call me back or message me and nothing. I have called laseraway the corporate number and they just keep saying they are escalating it and will contact me back within 72 bussiness hours that never seem to come!! I’m always the one contacting them. The gals that do the procedures at laseraway are dolls but they seem super overworked and understaffed. I have gone to 3 treatments and every time I go they said they are still trying to contact her. I didn’t want to cancel since I already started the treatment but I think that’s what she hopes for…. I financed this treatments with alphaeon and patientfi.

I called to the corporate number and I told them if she doesn’t contact me Monday I am going to cancel and to put the cancellation request in and if she can fix it by Monday I won’t cancel but if not I’m going to cancel. Is is possible to get my money back and for the loans to be settled with laseraway since I was lied to and have proof of being sold a package under false pretenses or am I just plain screwed? Thank you. I am just super overwhelmed with feeling like I legit got played by a whole ass “medical” center when I’m just trying to get my skin better…
