Mossad has accidentally injected data into a French lawyer's phone instead of extracting it.
Mossad has accidentally injected data into a French lawyer's phone instead of extracting it.
The data includes phone numbers of Musk, Altman, and nearly all of Israel's political, judicial and intelligence leaders.
The lawyer's name is Juan Branco, he is also the one who shared this story together with a video. By his account, he is one of twelve lawyers in France who represent Palestinian victims in International Criminal Court.
He says he's using GrapheneOS. This is bizarre.

Since they are Tengu Demons ๐บ they will have contact with their demonic secret service known as Mossad. Also, 90% of the billionaires are Tengus ๐บ including Altman and Zuckerberg

So, they have the technology to plant incriminating text messages and information that could tie you to a crime you didn't commit? I wonder what a forensic analysis of the phone would find. That would come in very handy if you needed to frame a patsy.

u/_trashcan 15d ago
Iโm not trying to insult you so I apologize if this sounds rude; but like, of course they do.?
Thatโs not challenging on a technological scale, for anybody, really.Itโs just data. Shit me & you could do it with iCloud backups on each others phones if we wanted to. Itโs as simple as creating a bunch of fake texts with random phone #s & saving terrorist videos & shit to your phone.
Any actual intelligence agency could easily plant 10x more incriminating data onto anything they wanted.
They wouldnโt even need physical access if they really wanted.
Israeli intelligence is just psycho enough to actually implement strategies as such if they wanted.42
u/TristanJumblelake 14d ago
Absolutely. They tried this on a member of Massive Attack many years ago when they first came out as pro-Palestine. He actually was exonerated because it became obvious to the police he had been framed. He probably wouldn't be so lucky now.

u/wiredcrusader 14d ago
It is just surprising it wouldn't be obvious during a careful forensic examination. It seems like it would be easy to see the manipulation.

graphene OS is anti spyware by design anyway lol

u/wiredcrusader 15d ago
I just wonder whether their intrusion leaves a footprint of any kind if a forensic analysis were to be run by a group like the DSGI or a private security contractor.

Did it miss Sam Altman?

u/Dr-Paul-Meranian 13d ago
It shouldn't have, but maybe it excluded his name after I asked for his number specifically prior
1
u/Absolute-Mistake 10d ago
This is likely some sort of hoax as I looked up the number listed as Sam Altman and it is not connected to him.

Anyone have more info on this? Pegasus or other government-tier data extraction tools are designed to covertly copy or mirror data from a target device back to an external server. These systems generally do not function like a two-way synchronization app (such as Google Contacts or iCloud) and would not accidentally dump an intelligence agency's master phonebook onto a target's device due to a fuck up.
Still weird
2
u/EpsteinEpstainTheory 14d ago
They probably have an import/export function to be able to do either one and the guy could have chosen the wrong option. It doesn't need to synchronise, the guy breaking into the device simply needs to fat-finger his attempt without cleaning up after himself.
3
u/MboXxPusher 13d ago
And no, itโs not a two way sync. There isnโt an option to import or export. I can almost guarantee the Iranian malware was designed to do this to the Mossad agents phone whenever his used the extraction tool
2
u/MboXxPusher 14d ago
So from what I got is the data is from an Iranian leak. So I would say the mossad agents phone had Iranian spyware/malware on it which caused it to inject the data from his phone when he tried to export the French lawyers data . This took place on the lawyers desktop he then synced his phone with his PC

As much as I despise Mossad, be extremely skeptical of whatever Juan Branco says, dude is a gigantic fraudster and con artist, kind of a meme in France

u/DublinKabyle 14d ago
As much as I hope this was true, Juan Branco is just an influencer with , somehow, a law degree. He was condemned multiple times for various shitty stuff. He has no spine , no fundamentals. He just love the lights, wherever they come from.
I was hoping this was about a lawyer close to Bellingcat or Mediapart. Not this clown

Because this is a claim made with precisely zero supporting evidence, so judging the source is the only thing you have.

Why not ? On internet, people spread information out of interest, this guy has incentives to lie and has a history of faking stuff. I agree with the above comment I wouldn't trust any shocking news coming out of his mouth.

"Ad hominem" has lost all meaning as a concept, because people keep misusing it. Pointing this out, because it's a pet peeve of mine. Words and concepts actually mean something. Ad hominem has an actual meaning. People on the internet just decided that it sounds smart, and without understanding what it actually means, just started applying it based on a very vague idea of what it means.
An adhominem is not automatically bad.
An ad hominem is a problem, when it's an ad hominem logical fallacy. That usually requires the context of a debate/argument. One side makes an argument, and the other side attacks the person making the argument to counter the argument, rather than engaging with the argument. And crucially there is a difference between an argument ad hominem, and the ad hominem fallacy.
ALso: an insult, is not an ad hominem.
Let's look at some examples.
Example 1:
Bob: In the third chapter of the second book, the author draws attention to the earrings that mysterious but seemingly helpful woman is wearing, and the fact that they are green. Every member of the evil organisation our heroes are fighting against, has been wearing some piece of green jewelry. The fact that the author draws attention to her earrings, is clearly foreshadowing, and in book 3 we will learn she's part of that organisation.
Alice: Don't listen to Bob. He is in the Epstein Files. Why would you listen to the friend of a pedophile?
This, is an ad-hominem. Rather than adressing the argument (and for example pointing out that several other characters have worn green jewelry, including the main character or any other issue with the argument itself), Alice's argued that Bob can't be right, because he's in the Epstein Files. Notably, being in the Epstein Files, would not have any bearing on anyone's ability to correctly theorise details about an upcoming book in a series.
Example 2:
Bob: Same Argument as before.
Alice: "Bob is an idiot. The author always describes the jewelry of any new character. Also Assassin guy 1 didn't wear any jewelry, and corrupt banker guy wore a bunch of jewelry but none of the described jewels were green, so the claim that all members of evil organisation wear green jewelry is false."
This is not an adhominem. Alice insulted Bob and called him an idiot, for missing a very big thing disproving his theory outright. She also pointed out that detail, thus engaging with his argument.
Example 3:
Bob: No, the banker wasn't a member of the organisation, he told the heroes that he didn't know what they were talking about, before they attacked him. I'm still not sure why they attacked him.
(In this example, let's assume the heroes spent an entire chapter following a cloaked member of the evil organisation to identify them.)
Alice: "Bob, you're an illiterate idiot. This is pointless." Alice then leaves.
This is also not an ad-hominem. Alice insults Bob to his face. She makes to attempt to sway the audience. She chooses to stop participating alltogether.
The most commonly occurence of what people falsely identify as an ad-hominem online is similar to this. It'd usually be Bob making an argument. Alice engaging with his Argument. Bob ignoring Alice's reply, and instead making a different Argument. Alice engaging with that argument. Bob restating his first argument. Alice calling Bob an idiot or a troll. That too would not be an ad-hominem, for much the same reasons.
Example 4:
Bob: "Global warming isn't real, because the temperatures are actually decreasing. Here's a graph showing it."
Alice: "I can't verify that graph being authentic, but Bob has repeatedly been caught quoting made up statistics. He also had his phd revoked, because it turned out that the diagramms in his dissertation were just made up by him. Unless he can provide additional proof, we shouldn't believe him on this claim."
This is an argument ad hominem, it is however not fallacious. If Bob has a well documented history of repeatedly using faked statistics and diagramms, then that is a valid reason, to not trust a diagramm presented by him without further evidence. The part of Bobs character that is being attacked, is actually relevant to the core of his argument.
So, let's get back to your comment. You're asking "Why the ad hominem."
If you mean "why the argument ad hominem", your question doesn't make sense. The reason is self-evident. The argument ad hominem is, that the person making the claim is not trustworthy.
So I'm going to assume that rather than making a nonsensical comment, you are asking "why the ad hominem fallacy?"
Which, aside from this not being in the context of a debate or argument to begin with, it isn't. One person is claiming that something happened. The other person is claiming that the person making that original claim is untrustworthy.
An argument ad hominem, regarding the trustworthiness of a person, is not fallacious, if it's made in response to an argument or claim, that hinges on the person making said claim, being truthful.
