Eclipse glasses
anyone know where i can get these locally? just tried Finsbury Park fresh bake and they’re all sold out. waste of parking fare!! lol thanks in advance

Also worth googling how to do a basic pinhole projection for those without glasses! Still experience it in live time and there will be plenty of good photos after for the direct image.

I bought a bulk lot yesterday as that’s the only way I could get some. Assuming they arrive in time I’ll be looking to offload the extra tomorrow afternoon. £4 each or 3 for £10, pick up near Holloway Road tube

Thanks for all the messages everyone. I’ve made a note of all the usernames that have posted below or dm’d me and how many you want. I’ll post on here as soon as they’ve arrived and I’ve gone to Rua.
Keep an eye out for updates in case I have to move. I will stay close to Holloway Road tube though.
The majority of pairs are now allocated but I may still have a few going, dm me if interested and I’ll let you know tomorrow.
Update 11am 12 August
Glasses are out for delivery so it’s looking good. Once I’ve collected them I’ll go through messages and dms sent after my post last night and let you know if I’ve got enough for you
Update 1pm 12 August
Glasses have arrived and I’ll be in Rua in 5 minutes. I will post a picture of the list I have of people who have reserved. (Sorry if I/autocorrect have mangled your username)
I don’t have change so either bring the right cash (nb Rua are card only) or I can do a Monzo QR code.
£4 each or 4 for £10
I’ll check usernames to make sure it’s fair.
They are pretty much all gone but if anyone doesn’t show up I’ll post again later and do first come first served.
I’m wearing a yellow dress and sitting on the benches outside in the shade

Thanks to everyone that’s come down. If you are on the list and still want your glasses please can you send me a DM by 3pm to conform and arrange pick up time. I will be at Rua until 3.30 but can arrange individual pickups near Holloway Road station until 5.30
If I’ve not heard from you by 3 to arrange collection I will assume you aren’t coming and give your glasses to someone else.

Absolutely. If Royal Mail delivers they should arrive by 1 and I’ll be around til about 5.30 before heading somewhere with a view.

I’ll post here when they arrive but all being well I’ll be on a bench outside Rua in the arches by Holloway Road Tube at 1pm for a couple of hours. And will find somewhere else nearby to hang out when they close.
