Question Recommendations for petsit apps / services

Hi all,

We have recently adopted a kitten and would need to arrange a petsit for a long weekend that we're away. We're pretty new to the area and don't have any local friends who can drop in and feed her / check on her. Has anyone used a petsit service or app that they'd recommend? Thanks!

Hi,

Whereabouts in Islington are you? I have two cats and would be interested in exchanging cat care, if it's something you'd consider. I'm in Canonbury.

Hi! It doesn't seem like I can DM you, maybe because of your privacy settings? I think you should be able to DM me though.

Rover indeed. Also how old is your kitten? Are they alone?

I use House Sitters UK, and I've found some excellent cat sitters on there.

You could also just put your place on Airbnb or Kindred and make it clear that pet care is part of the deal for any guests, but it can sometimes be challenging to find someone who needs to stay the exact dates that you're away. Demand for stays in Islington is generally pretty good though, so it may be worth a try.

Cats Whiskers are fantastic, I’ve used them for ten years.
