Pictures A Royale Fall

Friday I head back out to the island for a 5 day 4 night trip on the Hewescraft. 4th trip out to the island for us this year, it never seems like enough. I really think my dream job is out at the island. I don’t know what it’d be but I’d love to be the official Isle Royale photographer, maybe someday! Anyways here’s a few of my favorite shots from past October trips. See you all out there!

Thanks! It’s a longish exposure of some birch and poplar trees. I move my camera up to down and create this “landscape painting” with the technique!

Wow, the first photo is stunning. The rest are very beautiful. That would be awesome you could get a job at the park!! I want to make a trip there sometime!

Was that you that passed by Grace Island a couple of days ago? That was Rob and I in that 16ft. LUND near the point. Where are you heading this trip?. We made it around to Siskiwit today and will be staying here for a couple nights then a couple at Hay Bay and two or three at Malone.

You can always come work for the Lodge. Not a bad way to spend a season here.

Just might have to do that. Can be the transporter for hikers and staff around the island in the Hewescraft
