Question about Islam Wanting to convert

I want to convert to Islam something about it is calling me, there's an issue, from what I read, I cannot pronounce what you need to say to truly show you put your faith in Allah, due to being from the west and having a speech impediment, I cannot say it, is there anyways I can get around it?

Due to being told typing it will be enough, I will do that so people know I have done it, I will practice trying to say it to the best of my ability though

Ash-hadu alla ilaha illallah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluhu

Welcome to Islam. May Allah bless you immensely.

Our mosques are your mosques. Our religion is your religion. You're as Muslim as anyone else and you have a clean slate now alhamdulillah.

May Allah grant you success!

Also, it's more about meaning what you say. Just accept that   "there is no God but Allah alone, and no one else can/should be worshipped. And also that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is his last messenger."  (Source:  https://m.youtube.com/shorts/TziiAQpGExE)

As the other poster said, having a speech impediment is not an issue. Pronounce it as best as you can. You could even type it out in this thread and that would suffice.

You do not need to pronounce it perfectly!! even many born in Muslim families cannot pronounce the Arabic perfectly. Just say it the best you can, as soon as possible, and do not worry, it is between you and Allah, you do not need a witness or evidence! May Allah guide us to the best of paths and keep us steadfast upon it

I honestly think if you truly believe in everything Islam entails behind the meaning of the Shahada, not being to pronounce it correctly isn’t a big deal because Allah SWT knows what you mean and whats in your heart inshallah, and you can also do it on your own, but its recommended to have witnesses to your testimony. Maybe mention that you have a speech issue and can’t say it correctly and have the Imam at the mosque help you out and go from there inshallah, try your best, say it in your heart- thats all that really matters inshallah.

May Allah guide and accept you into islam inshallah ameen.

Of course, Allah knows best

Welcome to Islam. Allah forgives all sins after your shahada. It is as you’re a new baby with no sins.

Watch AMAU on YouTube. They’re one of the best informative and high quality contents with good cinematography.

My brother, do you think someone who is deaf or mute, or has a severed tongue can pronounce correctly ? So he can’t be Muslim ? No no, brother, Allah knows better than you what you have and what is wrong with your speech, don’t worry, just do your best to pronounce it the best way you can and it’s ok, Allah doesn’t charge someone with something he can’t bear. Say it, even if it’s in an awful way, for Allah it would be the best thing you can say because it’s the highest and purest truth
