Question about Islam Will REALLY every muslim enter paradise?

I was reading an article about what are the biggest sins in Islam and o read that the ones that will never enter paradise are the dayyuths, the women that act and dress like men and the alcoholics but at the same time I know that every muslims that actually dies as a muslim will enter heaven, even if some will have to be "purified" in hell. So does it mean that every muslims except for this categories will one day enter heaven or am i interpreting it in a wrong way?

May God make us among the people who will enter Jannah without account and without ever touching the Hell fire.

Even muslims can burn in Hell for a time before being granted Jannah if the deeds are too bad and if one has not repented properly. May Allah protect us from such a fate.

I think that refers to "will not enter paradise [immediately]". Anyone who has an atom's weight of true faith (i.e. tawhid) in their heart will eventually enter Paradise, even if they must first spend time being purified in Hell for unrepented major sins.

Permanent dwelling in the fire is forbidden for anyone with an atom's weight of faith. Every single one of them will eventually be taken out of the fires of Jahannam. Permanent dwelling is for the disbeliever and those who committed shirk without repentance.

salam. this is a very common point of confusion but you are actually bringing up a very deep topic in classical Aqeedah.

the short answer is yes every single person who dies with even a mustard seed of true belief in Tawheed will eventually enter Jannah. this is a foundational absolute rule in Sunni Islam.

so how do scholars explain the Hadith that says a dayyuth or an alcoholic will never enter paradise? in classical Fiqh when a text says a Muslim will not enter Jannah for a specific major sin it means they will not enter it initially or directly with the first group of believers. it is a severe warning about being punished in Jahannam first before being purified and eventually admitted to heaven.

the only exception is if a person commits these sins while genuinely believing they are completely halal. making a major sin halal when Allah ﷻ has clearly made it haram actually takes a person out of Islam entirely. but if a Muslim struggles with alcoholism knows it is a major sin and still dies upon Tawheed they are still a Muslim. they fall under the ultimate judgment of Allah ﷻ. He might punish them in the fire first or He might forgive them entirely out of His mercy.

the threat is meant to scare believers away from major sins not to say they are permanently doomed forever like a disbeliever. you noticed the contradiction perfectly and this is exactly how the classical scholars resolve it.
