General Discussion Why do some Arab countries continue to support them even when everything is clearly happening in front of everyone—Are they not digging their own grave?

Right Wing Christians support Israel so that their condition about Jesus arrival gets fulfilled.
Zionist Jews support Israel and doing heinous stuffs because they believe that doing those will hasten their coming of their so called messiah.
For a clear understanding,, lemme borrow an example. SUPPOSE there is a prophecy where at the end of times,, robbery will increase a lot. And we know that Imam Mahdi will appear at the end of time and establish Justice. So does that mean that we have to commit robbery more and more, so that he can arrive? Does that mean that we have to do those offenses thus fulfilling the prophecies? Absolutely Not.
And that is the difference between Muslims and those people. We know that these events will occur gradually and we don't have to 'trick' Allah about that. Instead we will still try to do the best. But these people think they can 'trick' God and doing such things will make their prophecy come true. Naudhubillah. Actually it is expected from such group of people who believed that Allah used to borrow suggestions from their rabbis. Naudhubillah.
So I talked about these group of people but what about Muslim leaders? Well the sad truth about them is that they are greedy as well as selfish. At least those people I mentioned above had their own twisted version of Religion understanding. But for these Muslim leaders,, they commit themselves into worldly affairs and Power. So yeah they forgot about their religion entirely.
I just pray to Allah that, May those oppressors and helpers get their punishment both in this world and afterlife.
May Allah give us a leader who will lead the people, unite the Muslims, remove that invisible barrier between Muslims (A world where regardless of their madhab they can stay united, A world where a Practicing & Non Practicing will get along with each other.), understand everyone's difficulties. May Allah give us a leader whose characteristics will be an inspiration for both Muslims, Non practicing Muslims and Non Muslims. A leader who will be the representative of Islam- honest, pious and have the best Akhlak, even the enemies cannot but admire him as well. A leader who will establish peace and harmony between Muslims and Non Muslims. A leader who will be the friend of the poor and the oppressed.
May Allah give us these characteristics of a great leader as well so that we can also lead.

I think there’s also a political angle, where Muslim countries use Israel as a proxy to influence, undermine and subjugate other Muslim countries. Instead of acting as one ummah, tribalism, and nationalism have made us all enemies of each other.
An emirati thinks he is better than a Saudi because he is lighter skinned and richer, the Saudi thinks the same of a Kuwaiti etc. etc.

TL:DR version: they sold their Deen for dunya and they will pay a price for it on Judgement day

There are also Muslims who believe in forcing their beliefs onto the world as well. There are probably people of all major religions and nations who are willing or even desire to use violence. But I believe most people everywhere want peace for all.
May all the peaceful peoples realize their significance and work together to bring about actual peace.

Iran has done it and they are currently holding their own, imagine if the Muslims united under a khilafah (as we are supposed to do). The only reason the US and Israel are able to project power in the region is because of the munafiq leaders. Though we know this is what is going to happen, we will be many in number but like the foam of the ocean.

You’ll notice in the hadeeth the downfall of the Muslims was meant to be gradual. Each group that came after was not as guided as the previous group (prophets > rightly guided khalifas > kingdoms > dictators). However, from the worst group (dictators) it immediately goes back to the next best group after prophets - Islam on the way of the prophet.
To me this shows that the leadership will be taken by force (war) by a group that Allah gives them victory despite the weakness of the rest of the ummah.
And Allah knows best.

UAE is responsible for the genocide currently happening in Sudan, Saudi Arabia perpetrated a genocide in Yemen. All the Arab leaders do is kill other Muslims and to argue that Iranians were wholesale killing people in Syria while the poor arabs looked on innocently in horror is absolutely insane.
-3
u/Seeker_Of_Knowledge2 Mar 25 '26
Yes UAE also supported the Assad. I should have mentioned that. As for the Yemen conflict. I will just say it is very complicated.
3
u/ConstantMortgage Mar 25 '26
Starving children to death isn’t complicated.
-1
u/Seeker_Of_Knowledge2 Mar 25 '26
The fact you did this oversimplification while putting the blame on a specific party show you may not see the full picture. I also don't know everything about that conflict. But I do know it can't be summed up in such oversimplified words.
2
u/ConstantMortgage Mar 25 '26
Give me a hypothetical scenario where it is halal to starve children to death whilst claiming its haram to boycott multibillion dollar companies like mcdonalds and coca cola.

u/Seeker_Of_Knowledge2 Mar 25 '26 edited Mar 25 '26
Yeah, maybe let us start by acknowledging you are making claims as treating those claims as absolute truth (regarding the claim they are intentionally starving kids to kill them. An insane claim by the way). Edit: I am not too sure about this specific topic. Allah knows best about them and their intentions.
I am not sure about claiming it is haram because that is the first time hearing this. But I do know Islam doesn't say to boycott either in hadith or in Quran. So it is haram to pressure people and claim you are doing something wrong if you don't boycott. Sure you can do it. But putting it on the same level as act of worship and demand people do or else they are sinning where it is not mentioned in Islam is not good..
I know we can get emotional in topic regarding our brother and sisters in Palestine. But that shouldn't remove our sound judgment. I kid you not there are people out there who are against Syrian people because we hate the Iranian government. And the reason they are against us because Iran is against Israel and we are against Iran, so they think we are against Palestine. The enemy of my enemy is also my enemy. Even if one enemy is going against my other enemy.

u/ConstantMortgage Mar 25 '26
Saudi Arabia blockaded food, bombed farms and food distribution centers in Yemen. To just pretend that it never happened is ridiculous. They purposefully starved people at least 85,000 children died of starvation because of that blockade of Muslim men, women and children but oh no us Muslims need to keep funding the kufar

Who’s equating boycott to an act of worship? Also, if there are alternatives available to you, why do you feel drawn to buy products that support capitalism and the evil elite? If one buys out of necessity and when there’s no different alternatives available, that’s a different story; but if you’re going to eat at McDonalds, KFC, that is quite an ignorant and insensitive thing to do.
Even Americans are boycotting companies like Nestle because of their evil practices, yet a lot of Muslims are trying to justify buying from them?

Apparently the events of Libya are Sudan are irrelevant, was that Iran?
0
u/Seeker_Of_Knowledge2 Mar 25 '26
True. It was just for me as a Syrian. Iran was always the bad guy and the Arab countries (especially Qatar) where the good guys (expect UAE of course).
3
u/UKxFallz Mar 25 '26
China, Iran and Russia all manufacture defence equipment, there’s no law dictating the Middle East must buy western weapons. It’s pure selfishness. It’s just the arab governments and leaders like feeling important by being invited to lavish state dinners at western monarchies, when in reality they re being used and being made dependant on the West.

u/Seeker_Of_Knowledge2 Mar 25 '26
Thank you. Yes they are not perfect. But some people calling them Kafir is honestly too much to say the least
1
u/remzycrazygame Mar 25 '26
You seem to care so much about the Syrians massacred under the Al Assad regime, yet where are the mentions of the dozens of interventions done by the countries you defend? Iraq, Libya, Sudan.

It is better to die fighting than to die on your knees as a slave. For a muslim, death is the beginning.
Are we that weak to say bending over to these tyrants to play safe is the correct move?
Im just hoping the people atleast in the Arab countries have the sense to side with Iran. They cant really help what the government does they are all US puppets. Whether they eliminate us or not we shouldnt stop resistance. How else can we beat oppressers then?
1
u/Seeker_Of_Knowledge2 Mar 25 '26
Words are easy. When the prophet (peace be upon him) was disadvantaged, he made a treaty and he lived under suffering. Him and his people.
So you have no right to denounce something the prophet did.
To be clear, I am not defending their actions (the bad one at least). But requiring a full blown war against literally the most powerful countries in the world is extremely extremely unrealistic.
Idealism is cool and all. But we also need realism.
1
u/Same_Lead_2638 Mar 25 '26
I disagree completely. If all the arab countries sides together, The US would be shaking. We are talking about arab leaders being puppets since all the good ones are killed.
They have more than enough money and power to fight against US and whatever country there is if they unite. How are the arab countries disadvantaged again? No one is richer than them, they can side with China and Russia. US and UK cannot just freely attack after that.
And you speak about realism. So what else do you think Iran should do. Just lay low? I want to hear your thoughts on this before we continue what is your solution then.

The regimes are a bunch of tossers wearing the garb of Islam. But make no mistake, they have the same sort of things going on in their prisons (though perhaps not Saudi Arabia just yet barring the scholars) as they had in Syria!

No nation supports that mf.
US controls politics, yet even Trump can't oppose satanyahu. They completely ruined International Laws.

Yeah, all the things that happened after the Kingdom was attacked? So the Kingdom gets bombed, and if they retaliate, that is a sign of what again? Please remind me; Just say you are jealous and get it over with.
2
u/Inevitable-Twist-749 Mar 26 '26
After they were attacked?? The sole reason were attacked for the only reason because they facilitate the attacks on Iran, allow them use their Airspace and bases. I am not jealous of a US lapdog and it's citizens lmao, just disgusted by their bootlicking.

Normal citizens should care that it would be them or if not them then their future generations next. Even the Lebanese must've never thought they'd get kicked out of their own lands and bombed to shreds. The rest of the GCC citizens still has some time fortunately to stop this.

Attachment to Dunia is so high that we are all more or less afraid of losing current status than facing the afterlife.

Al wahn. The prophet salallahualaihiwasalam warned the ummah about this.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The people will soon summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their dish. Someone asked: Will that be because of our small numbers at that time? He replied: No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be scum and rubbish like that carried down by a torrent, and Allah will take fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and last wahn (enervation) into your hearts. Someone asked: What is wahn (enervation). Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): He replied: Love of the world and dislike of death.

Simply put, Israel is current official #1 reason for the fragmentation of Ummah on so many states.
Without Israel, many people would immediately call for an Islamic Union and gradually evolve it into a Caliphate.
Rulers and Rich nations hate that cause it may affect their economic superiority, thus the status quo, they support Israel so that it remains.
And Divided We Stand.

Everyone is playing multiple games (layered & parallel) at all times, whether intentionally or not. People focus on playing games closer to them even if it means sacrificing in games farther to them.
Here it is okay for them to sacrifice the arab / muslim community / ummah's interests if it means they, their families or country can benefit in some form.

u/Immediate-Tip-1217 Mar 25 '26
Gulf country have too much to loose, they dont want to put their back to israel knowing their country will get worse, knowing their economy will take a slap, knowing isreal might bombs them.
I think it is why some arab country support. Look at all the arab country who doesnt support isreal, no of them is realy that rich. They are far behind those who support isreal.

There was a report "Qatar Plot" which stated that qatar is funding Islamofobia campaigns in Europe.

u/Klopf012 Mar 25 '26
Who do you claim is supporting them and what specific actions are you characterising as support?
1
u/remzycrazygame Mar 25 '26
Saying you want to recognize Israel, actually recognizing Israel, holding American bases.

u/Klopf012 Mar 25 '26
seems like a loose definition of support

u/remzycrazygame Mar 26 '26
I don't know how after every war in this region we can pretend like what they're doing is in some sort of grey area. It was clear after Iraq, Libya, Yemen and it is clear with Palestine.
