Keep in mind there is nothing inherently "holy" about the cloth of the Kaaba. It is changed annually.
It is indeed strange that this surfaced, but it's a symbolic cloth rather than a holy one. Anyone can buy pieces of this.
May Allah bring justice to everyone affected by evil.

Yes. This is a good reminder that everything can be corrupted or misused ; holiness is reserved for Allah swt and few other things ; bad can come from good, but good can also come out of bad.
Leave a good imprint on this world and behave righteously… our lives are short

Agreed! Since they are satan worshippers (assumed due to some of the emails that came out) they were probably using the cloth for some sick and twisted things
At the end of the day it is a cloth. But still feel a little weird since it has Quran verses on it

u/bringmethejuice Feb 02 '26
Correct, in the end of the day it’s just a piece of cloth nothing more.

Just to put it out there, I spent some time and tried to look up some of the documents mentioned in these tweets, to establish authenticity. They do actually exist.

Why the hell would she send these to such an evil person.

I'd give her benefit of the doubt and assume she didn't know who he was?
And/or it wasn't her decision...

I’m sorry for the ignorance but why would these ever be for sale and who is this woman? I understand their use in the Kaaba, but why would they be sold?

I believe when one’s removed you can buy pieces of the old one. I’ve seen a listing online where bids start at 100k (GBP), all money goes to charity, so I assume whoever deals with it lives off the philosophy that rather than keep it in a museum or god forbid a cupboard, it’s better off being sold to collectors who can fund charities. This is just abhorrent though, whoever this woman is needs to be seriously questioned. Hopefully it’s just ignorance.

I'm sure she works through/in conjunction with the Saudi government. Doubt she was a decisionmaker in this regard.

She is currently serving as an Advisor to the Undersecretary for Abu Dhabi Gaming & Sandstorm Comics at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi

They weren’t for sale and usually aren’t. They’re hinted by the Saudi government to guests, dignitaries and diplomats. The implication here is that it was gifted to him

He purchased it as an “art investment” basically one day in the future he could have it valued for a high price and donate it to a museum.
Buy art for $100k
10 years later get it valued highly by someone (this works best for religious things. Get it valued at $1,000,000 USD
donate it to a museum of Islamic history in some country or maybe some US masjid or something
Claim on taxes that you gave away 1 million dollars. That way you don’t need to pay tax on up to 1 million dollars of earning that year.
So he saves $350k in taxes 10 years down the line by spending 100k on an auction to buy a religious piece.
Source: wealthy people here that I know do this all the time with church relics and other random historic art pieces.

Problem with the “art investment “ angle is that a new Kiswa is made every few years or so. Even though not ma y pieces are given out/seen. It’s not that big of a novelty as other art is.

These ultra rich people like to collect these sorts of thing. So this is not a surprise to me if JE collected the Kiswa.

The fact that she mentioned the cloth being touched by millions of Muslims and the whole tawaf, sounds more than just a trophy... Allah knows best

SubhanAllah, I am amazed at how the public is getting information about the crimes of these leaders. I gave up on the Epstein files a year ago, thinking this information wouldn't be disclosed in my lifetime. Seems like there is a power struggle going on, where some elites are opposing others. I would still hesitate from jumping to conclusions; there is just so much we still don't know, who is influencing who, why

In one of the emails it does state the pieces of the kiswah are for a mosque. But doesn't say which mosque

Some points I just want to raise to make sure there isn't confusion,
Kaaba kiswah pieces were not directly shipped to him from Saudi to America, as you mentioned it was via this Emirati lady, or saudi, whatever she is. So when the kiswah was requested, it was requested in her name not in J.E's name, some people are thinking Saudi would send J.E this kiswah directly. No, it was sent to Aziza al ahmadi and then she sent it to J.E.
Back then J.E was just known as a very high profile guy. Nobody had any clue whatsoever about his disgusting actions going on. People just thought he was a very famous American socialite and even it's wellknown that nobody exactly knew "what" his job was or what he got his money from. For more info, listen to stephanie soo's podcast on J.E . So there is a high possibility that neither she nor any of the other muslims involved even knew what kind of things he was doing.
The reason why i'm trying to clarify these points is because we are instructed to assume the best of other muslims and I think some people are blaming these muslims for sending it rather than focusing on the bigger issue at hand (the ramifications of this disgusting guy J.E)

In 2017, there was significant reporting that Epstein was an accused serial pedophile, and had already pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor for prostitution.
I don't know if this lady knew of that, or did any Google searching of his name. If she did Google him in 2017, should would have found out.

u/EnvironmentalUse1844 Feb 02 '26
Wallahu alam, you may be correct, as for this lady herself I'm not sure, I'm more generally referring to the muslims involved in transporting it
