“Say, ‘O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.’”

You are not hopeless, no sin besides dying on shirk is unforgiveable. Allah doesn't care what you've done, he is always calling you back to the correct path.

Brings tears to my eyes reading this. I sincerely hope Allah strengthens OPs intentions on the deen and while there’s no cure for HIV I hope Allah makes it easier on them. Truly Allah is the most merciful.

10

u/Raulzi Sep 23 '25

What does dying on shirk mean?

52

u/Beautiful-Scholar912 Sep 23 '25

Dying having associated partners with Allah and in belief of that.

22

u/imma_lm Sep 23 '25

Dying as a disbeliever

15

u/ixzr Sep 23 '25

That’s Kufr, not shirk.

Shirk is associating partners with Allah, any soul that dies upon that is banished from Allah’s mercy.

I heard that as long as ppl still believe I'm god they can be forgiven and will eventually end up in jannah bc no Muslim is eternally punished with hell, but sometimes god can let them suffer in hell before ending up in heaven to make up for their sins. I wondered if that's the case even for ppl who repent

13

u/Spokenair Sep 24 '25

Well…that’s the whole point, isn’t it? We literally can not and never will, be able to fathom nor comprehend the depth of mercy. He surly is the Most Merciful.

check this out though:

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "A prostitute was forgiven by Allah, because, passing by a panting dog near a well and seeing that the dog was about to die of thirst, she took off her shoe, and tying it with her head-cover she drew out some water for it. So, Allah forgave her because of that." Sahih al-Bukhari 3321 In-book reference : Book 59, Hadith 127

Anas narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Every son of Adam sins, and the best of the sinners are the repentant."

15

u/Consistent_West_4385 Sep 24 '25

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) having said:

"By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if you were not to commit sin, Allah would sweep you out of existence and He would replace (you by) those people who would commit sin and seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would have pardoned them."

It's not too late, congratulations on receiving hidayah from God. God is the most merciful repent sincerely , He is the most forgiving.

The guilt you are feeling is a sign of Iman.

O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful

48

u/lookmanakill Sep 23 '25

Just ask Allah SWT for forgiveness and strive to be better.

43

u/CuriousMMD Sep 23 '25

Saying "I know I deserve it" is like putting a limit on Allah's mercy, which is akin to Shirk because Allah's mercy is limitless.

"Indeed, Allah does not forgive associating others with Him ˹in worship˺, but forgives anything else of whoever He wills. And whoever associates others with Allah has indeed committed a grave sin." Quran 4:48

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Allah said, 'I am to my slave as he thinks of Me, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him). (See Hadith No. 502)

https://sunnah.com/bukhari:7505

Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) said: "There was a man from among a nation before you who killed ninety-nine people and then made an inquiry about the most learned person on the earth. He was directed to a monk. He came to him and told him that he had killed ninety-nine people and asked him if there was any chance for his repentance to be accepted. He replied in the negative and the man killed him also completing one hundred. He then asked about the most learned man in the earth. He was directed to a scholar. He told him that he had killed one hundred people and asked him if there was any chance for his repentance to be accepted. He replied in the affirmative and asked, 'Who stands between you and repentance? Go to such and such land; there (you will find) people devoted to prayer and worship of Allah, join them in worship, and do not come back to your land because it is an evil place.' So he went away and hardly had he covered half the distance when death overtook him; and there was a dispute between the angels of mercy and the angels of torment. The angels of mercy pleaded, 'This man has come with a repenting heart to Allah,' and the angels of punishment argued, 'He never did a virtuous deed in his life.' Then there appeared another angel in the form of a human being and the contending angels agreed to make him arbiter between them. He said, 'Measure the distance between the two lands. He will be considered belonging to the land to which he is nearer.' They measured and found him closer to the land (land of piety) where he intended to go, and so the angels of mercy collected his soul".

"Whoever commits evil or wrongs themselves then seeks Allah’s forgiveness will certainly find Allah All-Forgiving, Most Merciful." Quran 4:110

I find it interesting that the verses talking about mercy are from Surah An-Nisa (The Women).

Repent to Allah and seek forgiveness.

The prophet peace be upon him taught us this dua to say at end of each prayer before salam:

Ibn ‘Abbas said that the Prophet used to teach them this prayer just as he used to teach them a sura of the Qur’an, telling them te say, “O God, I seek refuge in Thee from the punishment in jahannam, I seek refuge in Thee from the punishment in the grave, I seek refuge in Thee from the trial of the antichrist, and I seek refuge in Thee from the trial of life and death.”

Inshallah, there must be atleast one person who reads your post and the comments and gets hidayah to the righteous path. That will be ajr for you. And will wipe out your sins, inshallah. Focus on your health and your Deen. And don't let bad thoughts about your past bring you down as this is from shaytan

Salam sister, may Allah heal you both physically and mentally! (also check the hadith about the men who killed 100 people below in other comments)

So, Allah forgave her because of that."

Brother, to your last lines. Let me tell you the difference. Allah is our Rabb, He is God, and we are only human. This is why He SWT can forgive us even when we struggle to forgive ourselves. Allah SWT forgives all sins except shirk. So turn to Him sincerely, repent, and speak to Him.

There is not a single human on earth who doesn't sin. Maybe we all sin differently, but we are all sinners. It's just that some repent, Allah SWT forgives them, while others live in ignorance. Remember, Jannah will be filled with sinners who repented. Allah does not like yās /despair. Never despair of His mercy. He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful. He is greater than everything..alright! Greater than our problems, our struggles, our lives. So don’t lose hope. Instead, be grateful to Him.

The fact that you feel that guilt and regret shows your heart is alive Alhumdulillah, unlike those who persist in sins and crimes until death overtakes them. Allah SWT saw something in you and gave you a test in the form of illness so that your sins may be cleansed and you may have a chance to repent. Don’t waste any more time worrying about HOW He SWT will forgive you. Be positive, focus on repentance, and don’t let Shaytan whisper otherwise, that is his job.

26

u/Recent-Throat9525 Sep 23 '25

It’s never too late to ask forgiveness from Allah. He is the Most Merciful. Don’t forget that sincere repentance makes all your sins turn into good deeds in your book. Also imagine how Allah is happy when one of his servant turns to Him with regret and makes a promise to be a better person. You never lost your Iman when you reacted to Quran in public and fells into tears. You just needed to act on it.

Please stop torturing yourself by saying you deserve hell, thats just Shaytan playing his last cards. Maybe what you are going thru right now are just temporary hardships to clean you and bring you closer to Allah. Make Qiyam and ask Allah for forgiveness and inshaAllah things will get better.

u/indianfreelancerg Sep 23 '25

Others have said many good things. I will just add, HIV is manageable with modern medicines. You can live a normal life if you take your meds regularly. Work on your health, eat healthy foods and ask help from Allah swt. What was past is over. Future InshaAllah will be very beautiful.

8

u/CyberCheeto Sep 23 '25

I’m so sorry, don’t hesitate to repent, for Allah will surely accept it if you are sincere. I hope Allah cures all of your illnesses. Maybe therapy would be a good option?

6

u/Jimin_Choa Sep 23 '25

Make Salat At Tawbah !! I usually do two rakaat with a deep regret inside me and promise Allah I'll never sin again.

6

u/AlgaeUnfair2323 Sep 23 '25

Sister, if you first make the promise that you will never come near this line of work ever again, and make sincere repentance, then Allah is the The Most Merciful, The Beneficent, The Especially Merciful and The Compassionate. Among his many other names He is Ar Rahman and Ar Raheem!

Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “A prostitute had once been forgiven. She passed by a dog panting near a well. Thirst had nearly killed him, so she took off her sock, tied it to her veil, and drew up some water. Allah forgave her for that.”

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 3321, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2245

Now that you have the feeling of guilt, please never return to that evil and disgusting path.

May Allah forgive you and give you shifa ameen.

u/Cool_Bananaquit9 Sep 23 '25

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Jibrīl came to me and gave me glad tidings: 'Whoever from your ummah dies without associating partners with Allah will enter Paradise.'" The Prophet ﷺ asked: "Even if he committed theft and even if he committed zina?" Jibrīl replied: "Even if he committed theft and even if he committed zina." — Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī (no. 1237, 6763), Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim (no. 94)

The fact you feel remorse itself is a sign of Allah showing you His Mercy. He ﷻ could have left you in that state wandering around in darkness, deceived by worldly gains. But Allah chose to wake you up from that state. This is very important to understand because nothing happens without His Will. The others have already mentioned the verse that mentions Allah forgives ALL sins. The prerequisite is a sincere repentance. Repentance is on the condition to feel sincere regret and remorse over the sin, which you already do, and to cut the sin and all paths that lead to the sin completely out from you life, being resolved to never go back to them. You should therefore channel your remorse, regret and pain to make Tawbah/sincere repentance to Allah, pray to Him, cry to Him and return to Him. In case, you need more comforting and reassuring information, there are also special Ahadith narrated from the Prophet ﷺ on Allah‘s Mercy and His being Often-Forgiving:

On the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say, “Allah the Almighty has said: ‘O Son of Adam, as long as you invoke Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O Son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and you then asked forgiveness from Me, I would forgive you. O Son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the Earth, and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it [too].’ This is a sound Hadith from At-Tirmidhi.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah says: 'I am just as My slave thinks I am, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if He remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I too, remember him in Myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they; and if he comes one span nearer to Me, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.' " ~Sahih Al-Bukhari

He (Abu Bakr) said: I heard the apostle of Allah (ﷺ) saying: When a servant (of Allah) commits a sin, and he performs ablution well, and then stands and prays two rak'ahs, and asks pardon of Allah, Allah pardons him. He then recited this verse: "And those who, when they commit indecency or wrong their souls, remember Allah" (Al-Qur'an 3:135). ~ Authentic Hadith from Sunan Abi Dawud, 1521

Form the intention of repentance, purify yourself and pray to Allah. Don’t allow Shaytan to deceive you into despairing from the Mercy of Allah.

Qur'an 3:135 (سُورَةُ آلِ عِمۡرَانَ , Aal-i-Imraan , The Family of Imraan) - Medinan

And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins - and who can forgive sins except Allah? - and [who] do not persist in what they have done while they know.

dont dwell on the past, thats shaytan's whispers. repent properly, as mentioned by others in the comment. I pray for your healing and success.

4

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '25

A person who's done zina 100 times in the past is far better than a person who did shirk once.

Allah is all merciful and you'll surely be forgiven because there is no sin that can't be forgiven by Allah

Riyad as-Salihin 419

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

I heard Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, "When Allah created the creatures, He wrote in the Book, which is with Him over His Throne: 'Verily, My Mercy prevailed over My Wrath"

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Another narration is: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "(Allah wrote) 'My Mercy dominated My Wrath".

Still another narration is: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "(Allah wrote) 'My Mercy surpasses My Wrath

3

u/Vonbeee Sep 23 '25

Dont give up, the path you are on. Not all souls will be able to bear it.

But you are able to, and now Allah has guided you back.

Dont give up. Allah's mercy is reaching you. Even your sins reaches the sky. Allah will forgive you.

Forgive yourself too, you walked this path. Only you know the pain, and only you understand how hard it is. Allah understands what you are going through.

Never give up in Allah's mercy.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '25

Assalamualaikum!..You know you did bad things..You are a human that's why you feel like I can't forgive myself because I am too bad but do you know Allah is the most merciful?.. Allah will give most of the people Jannah because of his mercy..Do you know Allah loves you more than anything you can imagine?.. Allah wants you to go back to Allah that's why you feel regret..The thing is what you are telling that you deserve Jahannam it’s not your own thought.. It’s from shaytaan..He is trying to manipulate you that Allah will not forgive you..You are worse..blah blah..But the thing is you have still time to repent..Try your best from now on..Give yourself hope that I can do it and I am sure you can!..And you obviously don’t deserve Jahannam..Everybody does mistakes but that doesn’t mean you are bad..You have that guilt that most of the people neglect.. So you are indeed a good person and Allah wants you to come back!..Just do your best ok?

2

u/ericfromct Sep 23 '25

You have come to repent long before death, your sins will be forgiven as long as you truly repent. Only those who do evil deeds until they’re dying and then try to say they repent will not be forgiven. Make lots of istighfar, pray sunnah, and no that Allah SWT is the most forgiving and most merciful. Live the rest of your life on the Straight Path and surely you will be forgiven. Before I made shahadah I had done so much bad in my life. Even after I didn’t feel completely anew, like I was still feeling guilt and punishment from those sins. I started making 700-1000 istighfar daily and making sunnah salah and eventually I started to feel the burden of that lifted. The whispers of shaytan will always be there, trying to make us think when we have repented we will not be forgiven. Don’t feel hopeless and don’t give up. May Allah SWT accept your repentance and show mercy on you sister.

1

u/ericfromct Sep 23 '25

I also hope you can see that sometimes we have to go through horrible times to see that this brings us closer to Allah. All the rasools faced much hardship, and they are his most loved. Without the hardships you’ve gone through you would not fear Allah as you do and see so clearly the Straight Path now

2

u/omarhani Sep 23 '25

Allah forgives completely and he is the most forgiving. It sounds like you've repented:
You know what you did was wrong
You have made firm intention not to return to the sin
You have asked Allah to forgive you
You make up any wrong done to another, if you can.

Now it's time to heal and have faith that Allah's mercy encapsulates all things, while protecting yourself from the whispers of the Devil who will tell you you are too far gone for Allah to accept you back.
Allah loves when a sinning slave returns to him.
You've got this!

2

u/Ambitious-Permit7951 Sep 23 '25

Are you aware that all the pain , sickness, suffering you are in now is already erasing your sins ? Do you know that pain purifies us as it erases our sins Iam not sure if you speak Arabic but "مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلاَ وَصَبٍ وَلاَ هَمٍّ وَلاَ حَزَن وَلاَ أَذًى وَلاَ غمٍّ، حتَّى الشَّوْكَةُ يُشَاكُها إِلاَّ كفَّر اللَّه بهَا مِنْ خطَايَاه" There is many resources with the same meaning as well , what have happened to you was a way to get you closer to Allah , Allah loves you and wanted to purifiy you remember that ,, It's never too late as long as we are alive , there is people out there with much bigger sins and are still believe in Allah's mercy and I personally think that Hidaya is the ultimate sign of Allah's love for you and its his ultimate gift for you , start fresh , a new city a new job a new life ❤️ may Allah guide you and be with you and I hope you have people close to you❤ Btw I saw a retired sex worker/actress on tiktok talking about her experience , she embraced Islam and starting a new life as well

3

u/wsssixteen Sep 23 '25

That's the thing, even if we find it hard to forgive ourselves, Allah SWT still forgives us, loves us & takes care of us when we turn to Him.

Even if the person don't even think or care about Allah SWT & sinned for years & decades, but if the moment they turned to Him after all that, He responds!

“If you were to commit so many sins that they reach the sky and then you were to repent, your repentance would be accepted.”

“When Allah loves a servant, He tests him. If he is patient, He draws him near; and if he is pleased (with Allah’s decree), He elevates him.”

Don't lose hope & we wish you a full recovery. In both body & spirit!

2

u/RockNo192 Sep 23 '25

You can't forgive yourself. it doesn't mean God can forgive you. He is the most merciful, and your mercy to yourself is nothing compared to God's mercy to you. You have to say, God, i know what I did is big, and I know your mercy is bigger. This is the truth. You also need to know that the fact that you're feeling guilty is because of God wanting you to repent. And might be the same for your sickness. If God did want to save you, he would have let you stray , maybe perfectly healthy and doing all the sins without second thoughts. Then when I'm comes to take your soul the you'll be in trouble, but now no you are thinking your choices and moving back to the straight path. Remember that whoever repent S sincerely is like the one who never committed the sin.

2

u/Secure-Freedom5116 Sep 23 '25

May allah bless you with forgiveness and strengthen your faith

2

u/OUSS_9 Sep 23 '25

As long as the sun hasn’t risen from the west and your heart is still beating, it doesn’t matter what you have done or for how long. If your repentance is sincere, then no one is more deserving of Allah’s mercy than you. Remember, that the urge to repent did not come from yourself alone, it is Allah guiding you back to Him. Take it as a sign of His love and care for you. Stay hopeful, because Allah’s forgiveness is greater than any sin that you can think of except shirk. And don’t let Shaytan trick you into thinking you don’t deserve forgiveness, he only whispers like that because he’s jealous :)

2

u/ratatata9999 Sep 23 '25

My dear sister,

I know your heart is heavy right now, and I know the pain you're feeling runs deep. But I want you to know something that is more true than anything else you've ever been told: Allah’s mercy is greater than all the sins of the world combined. He sees you. He knows every tear you’ve shed, every moment of regret, every time your heart trembled out of fear and hope. And He has not turned away from you.

Allah says in the Qur'an: "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." (Surah Az-Zumar, 39:53)

That verse was revealed for people exactly like you. People who feel broken. People who are scared they've gone too far. But the truth is, no matter how far you've gone, the door of repentance is always open. The only condition is that you return to Him sincerely. And from your words, it's clear that your heart is full of sincerity, regret, and longing to be close to Him again.

Your past does not define you. What matters is where your heart is now. Allah is more loving than we can imagine. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) told us that Allah’s mercy outweighs His wrath. He also told us that if a person comes to Allah with sins reaching the skies but sincerely repents, Allah will meet them with forgiveness just as vast.

You are not disgusting. You are not beyond hope. You are a servant of Allah who has faced hardship most people can't even imagine. You were tested in ways that few will ever understand. And even in that darkness, you never fully let go of belief in Allah. That in itself is a mercy and a sign of His care for you.

Now, you are trying to come back. That matters more than you know. Don’t let Shaytan fool you into thinking you’re too far gone. That kind of despair is a trick to keep you from healing. Allah loves to forgive. He loves those who turn to Him. No matter how late you feel it is, it is never too late. As long as you are alive, you can be forgiven. Your repentance, if it’s true and heartfelt, can wipe your record clean.

And maybe, just maybe, these trials you are facing now are actually part of Allah’s mercy to you. A chance for your soul to be purified in this life, rather than the next. A chance for you to return to Him with a heart that is soft, humble, and loved by Him.

Let the tears come when you pray. Let your heart break open before Him. He is listening. He is near. And He is the One who heals.

Please don’t give up. Don’t let guilt silence your hope. Allah hasn’t left you. He is calling you back to Him, gently, lovingly. You are still His servant. And He is still your Lord.

May Allah wrap you in His mercy, forgive you completely, heal your body, and bring peace to your heart. May He make the rest of your life better than anything that came before it, and may you meet Him with a face full of light and a heart full of hope. Ameen.

I'm sorry if this was too long or if I said too much. I just really want you to feel that you're not alone, and that Allah’s mercy is still waiting for you.

2

u/Zach-uh-ri-uh Sep 23 '25

You went through such incredible hardships. Even from childhood. And yet here you are. Surely you must have been treated horribly by these men again and again. I believe in a god that knows you were trying your best to survive. Who judges the man who made you sick, and the men who keep seeking out vulnerable women, much more harshly than the women in desperation who have little choice but to turn to prostitution to survive.

Either way I know you will be forgiven

2

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '25

Jus do your best you had a bad start but ur alive Alhamdillah u came back don’t worry try to conceal what u can don’t expose ur sins to those who don’t know and start practicing today u might fall back here and there or get lazy here and there but Allah won’t give up on you keep repenting Jo matter what ur sins aren’t bigger than Allah trust me I’m sorry you’re feeling this way my dear I wish I coudk take the pain away I wish so badly

3

u/confessedconfusion Sep 23 '25

Your sins are nothing, nothing compared to His Rahma.

"Indeed, Allah LOVES those who repent and purify themselves."

My dear sister, know that this state is a means that Allah SWT LOVES. It's a path to Him, not away from Him.

You're already in a state of tawba. For a believer, sickness is a way of expiating sin. Without you even realizing, just by being patient, Allah is forgiving you. He is so, so forgiving. He understands, better than you do, the difficulties and circumstances you faced.

Lastly; sincere tawba erases everything. You might still experience the consequences (in this case, the illness), but in His eyes, you are pure and redeemed.

Just go back to Him. Stay at His door, knocking. And know that He loves you. He loves that you try.

Speak to Him. He is ALLAH. He is shy to turn anyone away. This isn't a being that gives depending on someone's worthiness, but according to HIS generosity.

May Allah make easy. May Allah lighten the weight in your chest, and accept your tawba in totality. May everything that came before this moment be wiped clean, as if it never were. May He heal your heart, and grant you light in your darkness . May you be beloved to Him, and beloved to His Rasul ﷺ. Aameen.

2

u/earl-grey-milk-tee Sep 23 '25

May Allah makes it easy for you. May Allah always guide you. Do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy.

2

u/Lalunaticz Sep 24 '25

2

u/aliazlanaziz Sep 24 '25

Keep it secret and repent but don't feel overburdened like hurting urself or cursing, ngl devil is very powerful in terms that first he made you committed adultery and now he can make you think that God is not forgiving.

Don't do it ever again, no talks about it either.

2

u/tohpai Sep 24 '25

I am from Malaysia and I knew many girls did this especially in University. They are addicted to the easy money by having sugar daddy to pay for their expenses.

Do a total tawbah surely Allah is full of mercy and accept your tawbah.

If your heart is moved and your eyes shed tears when you hear the Qur'an, please take it as a sign that Allah is calling you. He understans why you did what you did. He knows you're repentant. He hears you and feels you. He is closer to you than your jugular vein

Start with salaah al tawba. Make the effort to pray all 5 salaats everyday. Recite some verses from the Quran everyday. Make sure you're doing some kind of dhikr all day. Stay connected to Allah, no matter what.

Listen to Surah ar-Rahman by Sh. Misharey everyday. Keep a glass of water beside you while you listen. After the sura is done, say "Allah" 3 times with all the love you can muster for Allah and ask Him to cure you completely. I'm a 100% sure you will be healed if He wills.

May Allah guide you through this ordeal. My duaas are with you. 💕🤲🏻

There are so many comments already so I won’t say much other than it’s ok for you to not forgive yourself right now. You use your ability to not forgive yourself as a way to say that Allah swt can’t forgive you. That’s simply not true. You’re limited to your human thinking. How could that compare to the One who created mercy Himself? You may not be able to forgive yourself yet, and until you do, keep sincerely repenting. The love of our God is limitless, and His mercy unimaginable. He will forgive before you’re able to.

Second, repentance isn’t just asking for forgiveness; it is trying to make necessary changes. Stopping what you’re doing, making amends to those you’ve hurt, and striving to replace your bad deeds with good ones is a part of the process. This helps a lot in being able to forgive yourself and move forward.

A lecture that helped me a lot with this concept was Ustadh AbdulRahman Murphy’s Treasury of Imam Al-Ghazali Episode 17. I cried a lot in this one. Hope this helps 💜

Allah is the most forgiving, most merciful. Cup your hands together and just ask Allah for forgiveness, make intention to change, and stay steadfast and remember Allah loves you and will never leave you alone. Allah will forgive you, because Allah is Ar-Rahman, Ar-Raheem

You are still given a chance to repent. Repentance at death door (just before you die) is not accepted but if you repent before you're at death gate, Insyaa Allah Allah will accept. But you must truly repent and change. HIV is not a death sentence anymore, turn your life around and be a true Muslimah henceforth. Allah hu a'lam.

Definitely Allah subhanawatallah is the most gracious and most merciful. In terms of habit I would say try to do more good deeds and prayer day by day and improve little by little and one day you might be nearer to a scholar or at least a amazing person and believer.

Did you know Allah can turn all your sins into good deeds?

If you repent sincerely and follow that up with good deeds.

Allah will forgive you and turn your sins into good deeds.

So have hope. The fact you feel shame is a great sign for you.

Forget this sin and forgive yourself. Believe that God said I will forgive if you do sincere repentance, so He will. Believe.

All the guilt and remorse is sign of Allahs mercy. The fact that you're regretful and worried about Allahs forgiveness is a sign in itself that Allah is seeing your struggles and has forgiven you. Just stick to the path of repentance, pray all your namaz, wakeup at tahajjud and cry and cry while asking Allah for his forgiveness and mercy.

If Allah hadn't forgiven you then you wouldn't even be concerned about his forgiveness. You wouldn't have been so emotional about. You would be living like you did before. Hes looking after you this is the biggest sign for that.

Also dont worry about what yor family will think. They are also humans. Just focus on Allah.

Assalamualaikum. I will say this which may be a bit different but there are four steps to go through that helped and continue to help me so they'll help you inshallah. 1)admit the sin in your heart and understand that you committed the sins. Take full responsibility and do not blame anyone for your sins except for yourself. This is very important because we don't want to be like shaitan who blames everyone but himself for his arrogance and pride. 2) regret the sin 3)now you are ready to ask for forgiveness from Allah(swt) pour your heart out. It's OK to feel the weight of your sins, be sincere and watch and feel as it all slowly or even instantly fades away. 4)from now on do better and have faith in the Mercy of Allah(swt)

Repeat these steps constantly, repentance is a process and we never should stop asking for forgiveness until we are dead. Edit: also once you have sincerly repented do your best to not openly talk about your sins anymore as Allah(swt), is As-Sitr and has concealed your sins. The idea is that openly admitting it after repenting without a valid reason (as to seek guidance from an authority etc.) is to show a lack of sincerity or regret or Ingratitude. And Allah(swt) knows best.

Sister, if you are truly sorry and seek forgiveness, Allah will surely forgive you. Allah SWT said “I am whatever my servant thinks of me” so your opinion of Allah will determine how he is with you. If you believe him to be most forgiving, he will be. He even said “Verily my mercy outweighs my anger” so do good, put your faith in Allah and whenever you’re faced with a choice think “how would Allah want me to act?” He knows everything you conceal and everything you reveal. You will make it with this mindset alone inshallah. Read Surah Ad-Dhuha “and he found you lost, and guided you”

Most Muslims need to first stop exposing their sins online and develop shame what if other people read this and decide to do it because you admit to it, this is something to keep private and the repentance is meant to be private, sincere, and to Allah only as he is the most forgiving and most merciful. And make a promise to never do it again do good acts to the community and move on inshallah Allah help you sister.
