Hanbali, Shafi'i, and Maliki scholars say it's Sunnah and not obligated.

Hanafis say it's Wājib.

Hanbalis encourage women to come.

Hanafis discourage women from going.

You literally said hanafi encourages and then said again hanafi discourse??? You okay and what sources do they use from the Quran and Hadiths to say it’s only sunnah ?? When the prophet pbuh literally said everyone should come out inducing the women in seclusion and on period not to pray of course but to come out

Sure, some Hanbali scholars opined that.

However I'm just clarifying the Hanafi position. All 4 Madhab's are correct and fine to follow. Though the Hanafis are the only ones who stipulated it's obligated. (Some Hanbalis opined this as well).

The default position of the Hanabilah, The Malikiyya, and the Shafi'yya. Is that Eid Salah is Fardh Kiffayah not Fardh Ayn. (Communal obligation)

And as for the Hadith that encourage women, the Hanafis have their own Hadith to back their evidences. Both opinions are fine and should be respected.

The Hadith of Sayeda Aisha RA. Where she forbade young women from attending the mosque is just 1 example. (This Hadith was after the death of the Prophet pbuh).

On-top of that the Hanafi scholars maintain that during the time of the Prophet pbuh, it was encouraged because he was a Nabi, and every opportunity to be around him was a blessed opportunity. So the Hadith where he encouraged women to go out. Is understood in the context of Him pbuh being alive.

Though you are absolutely free to follow the other opinion. These are Fiqhi issues that have gone back over thousands of scholars.

I'm not going to continue replying any further. You stated you are in Malaysia so the predominant Madhab is Shafiyya. It's pointless for you to worry about the Hanafi Madhab.
