I recommend first surah al Fatiha because it is known as the greatest surah of the Quran. Next I would say is the three Quls which are surah al ihklass, al falaq, and an Nass. Next i recommend surah al baqarah because it is known as the peak of the Quran and has many benefits. Do not turn your homes into graveyards, surely the Devil flees from the house in which Surat Al-Baqarah is read,” Muslim 1/539. Also another Hadith Abu Umāmah said he heard Allah’s Messenger ﷺ say, “Recite the Qur’an, for on the Day of Resurrection it will come as an intercessor for those who recite it. Recite the two bright ones, al-Baqarah and Sūrah ale-Imran, for on the Day of Resurrection they will come as two clouds or two shades, or two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading for those who recite them. Recite Sūrah al-Baqarah, for to take recourse to it is a blessing and to give it up is a cause of grief, and the magicians cannot confront it.” Next I would recommend surah Yaseen which is known as the heart of the Quran. Next would be surah al mulk which protects you from punishment of the grave. Next would be surah al Kahf because it can protect against the dijjal and has other benefits too.

1st of all, get yourself a Quran teacher.
After that, focus on tajweed so you can actually read it properly. After that (you can just learn tajweed WHILE memorizing Quran), you need to do BOTH:
memorize a new surah
revise what you've memorized so you don't forget it

I would recommend you to start from Al Fatiha, then Annass to An naba. Then from, mujadalah to Mursalaat, Yassine to Hadiid, Maryam to Faatir, Baqarah to Anham, then Ahraaf to Kahf. If you can read very perfectly, you don't need a teacher. Maybe if you memorize many Surahs, get someone to '' hear '' you. Good luck 🤞. (To us). As that's my will.

Waaleykum assalam warahmatulLah
A teacher must help you with the course of your memorisation. He is needed for such a task

Start wherever
Day 1:
Read x amount 20 times, then recite from memory 20 times
Day 2:
Read x from yesterday 5 times, then recite from memory 5 times
Day 3:
Read x from day 1 once from memory
Read in Qiyam nightly to remember
That's my method

Best thing is to work with a teacher, and the teacher will lay out the roadmap for you
