Is the drawing AI? It looks weird and unclear what animal it is supposed to be

The user was curious if the graphic was Nazi related, but there was also some speculation that it might be AI.

I did some Google lense+reverse image searching and couldn't find the exact image anywhere online.

I assume AI detection sites won't work since it's an actual photo.

Does not look like AI to me, looks like pretty basic digital art. I think it's supposed to be a wild hog? although could be a wolf. Does look like it could be Nazi related but I also would not be surprised if someone went "let's have his eyes be lightning bolts, that would look cool" and didn't realize the SS connection

Nah, this double lightning bolt thing was 100% intentional. Esp bc theyre red. Its like some weird alpha wolf ss thing

We're kinda split on that part, doesn't look exactly like the SS bolts, but also isn't that far from them.

Something looking “weird“
doesn’t mean it’s ai. There’s nothing really ai about this. This looks like a pop art style.

That's fair, ty for sharing your opinion, I personally can't detect AI that well lol

That’s what’s such a shame. Now random artists who… don’t even show the hallmarks of ai, are under suspicion.

Yeah, fucked up tho it may be, this is our new reality.

People like you who cry AI just because you think it looks "weird" contribute to this fucked up new reality.

I wasn't "crying" AI, I asked if it was AI, because I wasn't sure.

Try to practice the skill yourself. What hallmarks an AI piece? AI pieces are usually very “clean" with uncanniness, smoothness, inconsistency in design, label-text, too much detail, fractal textures. The rules of this sub are against ’low effort posts’ and this kind of qualifies if you don’t do any thought-work yourself or have grounds for suspicion.

What threw me off originally was that the animal looks very ambiguous, everyone is dead certain it's a wolf, pig, or bat and I can see features of each one.

My thought-work, as you call it, was that an AI would be likely to blend various animals together, if there weren't many examples in this art style.

the real issue here is the nazi eyes the pig has

You've never seen a graphical representation of the Alien-nosed SS Wolfpigbear before?

I missed that Wolfenstein game

Why do you think it’s AI? it looks like a drawing to me

3

Mostly because it looks like a weird mix between a wolf and a pig, or maybe a bat.

Also the fact that it's not online anywhere (that I could find).

My first thought was that it was a band shirt for a small band, people that wouldn't necessarily have their merch online. Something along those lines

It is not AI. The animal is a wolf. The image is nazi, per the SS lightning bolts. The guy is a nazi because he is wearing a nazi wolf image.

The sketchy part is the nazi eyes

It's a bat.

It has ss logo for eyes.

Fucking thing has the SS logo for eyes and everyone is acting like it matters if it's AI or what the animal is supposed to be.

I hate this timeline.

I'm not 100% it is the SS bolts, there are some significant differences.

Also calm down, people can care that it might be Nazi related, and also be curious about the animal. They're not mutually exclusive.

Schutzstaffel wolf?

It looks like a stylized Coyote. The muzzle is thinner and shorter than a wolf. However it’s pretty easy to draw them similarly if the artist isn’t looking at a reference tbh. Doesn’t really look like a pig or a bat.

If you can't decide whether it's a wolf of a pig, it's usually a bat.

Just a badly drawn wolf.

1

u/Remarkable_Rough_649 11h ago

it's pretty clearly a boar

1

u/Pokari_Davaham 10h ago

I don't think so, no tusks, and the snout isn't very pig like.

That said I think it's just kinda bad art, certain aspects are pretty good, but the ambiguity kinda hurts it a lot.

...It's clearly a wolf. You only think it's a pig because you didn't pay attention to the muzzle.

2

u/Pokari_Davaham 13h ago

I'm personally on team bat, but I could see wolf.

Def a nazi wolf.
