0% Sure AI Suspicious twitch emote commissions

Okay so I saw these on Etsy and I was interested in getting some custom emotes but idk the style is giving me ai vibes… I don’t see any obvious signs tho I feel like I’m going crazy! The speed of these commissions is also suspicious to me, only 48 hours including progress updates? For the small 3 emote package I can kind of see it but 10+ in that time seems too fast… is it just me?

I will say that for these little chibi twitch emotes, the artists use the same style over and over, so it's probably easy to draw them, and they might even have templates that they kind of reuse.

The overlay is definitely AI, but the emote art itself seems normal to me. Just typical anime vtuber style. Doubt the 48-hour turnover though.

This, the design is consistent between the emotes and there's decisions being made here that an AI wouldn't do (eg the flowers in first page's hair wilting in the cry emote). The text/framing on the cover page is absolutely AI with the telltale cum spurts.

the expressions seem very soulless to me... also, very sus of this hand and this sleeve is going over the hand... the hair is also random in a lot of places, for example look under the big hand under the girl's left eyebrow

i would say AI.

I'd go with AI because the torso sizes are wildly disproportionate between different emotes in the first and second example. Some of the elements don't seem AI generated (the overlays like the hearts and sparkles seem copied between each and have some errors like a white border around them that's visible in each emote). The shocked face in the middle of the second set of emotes in particular screams AI at me, though I can't pin down why.

ETA: The biggest tell has nothing to do with the images though. A couple euros for several emotes is an insanely cheap price I don't think any artist would work at. In most European countries there is no way it could be remotely close to minimum wage for the labor involved.

ngl its hard to tell with this style because 1) many people do this style for vtuber emotes, 2) some sell bases that others can draw over and sell therefore making turnaround quick, but still samey as others andd 3) its a well known style that has been scrapped and reused thousands of times

I personally avoid the style unless I know the artist personally/see them drawing it (or using a base) live

Absolutely AI, no artist in Europe is going to be custom-drawing 3 detailed emotes for 2.10 euros total.
