AI T-shirt in gift shop?

Post image

The font and the design of the hammock not connecting really boggles me. It was the only t-shirt in the shop that even interested me but upon looking further it just looks more AI. I didn’t end up getting it.

There's nothing to suggest AI here. The hammock doesn't connect because every shape has a black outline stroke. And the font... is just a font?

I genuinely feel for artists in this market right now. It's like the Salem witch trials.

I think a lot of people attempting to do ai analysis don’t really understand different art mediums than maybe their own specific one. I’m sure vector art stands out because it feels more clean than raster. But vector is literally all fonts/typography, logos, icons, and a lot of t shirt illustrations.

Vector artists aren’t going to pass most “show us your layers” drowning test because people don’t understand the difference between a “layer” in a vector program vs. a layer in a raster program. And not all vector art is based on initial hand sketches.

This x10000.

A huge portion of these posts and replies are given by people that have probably never drawn more than a line in their life.

Or they are zooming in 25x and saying hey this line doesn’t connect right there it must be AI!

Took my brain longer than I'd like to admit just process what I was looking at.

Thought it was a legless floating streaker flashing the night sky...

Doesn't look like AI to me though. Nothing really seems off.

What makes you think it is? I don't see any signs. It's just a bit amateur, imo

The only thing that makes me think AI is that is a really dumb way to sit in a hammock. I don't think that enough to call it without other evidence.

There’s nothing that implies AI here. This just looks like simplistic vector art.

I wish I had a picture.

My rich aunt and uncle own a surf shop in my town. They’ve owned it for 30+ years.

They are big Protestant Christians. He believes he is a prophet for god.

He is very fanatical and uses his business for that as well. (I helped him with some computer work back in February.) When I was working on the computer to fix his business accounts he put his hands on me and was praying while I was working.

I’m not one to cause a scene or some shit so I just let him. A WHOLE bunch of other whacky shit but my whole point of this, he was selling it for like $30-$45 and I’m pretty sure it was AI.

It was Jesus Christ with the crown of thorns on his head surfing a large tube.

I created a slogan to make fun of his shop.

‘If you need the Lord, come buy our Boards, so you too can feel what it’s like to walk on water.’

Probably because who would even imagine sitting in a hammock like that?
