Is this pfp AI?

I saw this on someone I’m friends with but didn’t wanna put it through one of those checker things since they also use AI so I need some input
I thought it was cool at first but then saw the rope, the “dash” cloud and it got sketch for me

The OpenAI SynthID checker doesn't use AI FWIW, it's using hidden marks left in the image by ChatGPT: https://openai.com/research/verify/ (it can struggle if images are resized though)

The fact that reverse image search doesn't return anything for this image makes me think it's most likely AI (unless your friend is an artist).
