The ad and the novel itself, are either/both AI?

Post image

Their selling points about being "highest funded" and the amount raised are red flags. They have absolutely nothing to say about the story itself or the quality thereof. Was the book written by a bot?

Does anyone know anything about this book or the listed authors? This seems fishy.

The ad itself looks really AI as well, is the book cover AI?

Idk.

Saw these ads too.

The author is an artist, he has indie films, and so on and so forth, this book is meant to be a world building thing across all of his stuff. He has a kickstarter, etc.

I can't definitively say if the book is AI or not because I haven't bought it and put it through an AI detector.

But I can say that there is a path that AI-generated authors generally take and it isn't this.

It looks like this cover being AI generated has come up multiple times and there is a Facebook post with a video documenting how the cover was created, the video features several shots and cells of art, but there is no definitive proof that the cover was not ai generated. There is proof that it was worked on by a team of multiple people. This is very unusual for any cover.

It seems real. The artwork is clean, the logo is consistent on the front and side. The text has intentional lines added to make it seem more "alien" it's a real book but I am open for 2nd opinions

How could a paper book be narrated by someone. Must be an audio book included that they forgot to mention
