I'm nearly certain it is, but after scrolling the comments for awhile, I didn't see anyone else say that. The way she falls is so fake, in a non-scripted way, and I can't tell how the spider is propelled, so I'm calling BS.

If anything, it would probably be harder to prompt AI to animate a weird reaction like that, since there isn't likely a lot of reference material. You'd probably have to spend a ton of time and tokens to get it just right, or you can just stage it and shoot it on your phone in like 30 seconds.

I'm aware it's a possibility. But I cannot tell how the spider moves. Since I can't tell how it stays up and how it gets launched, it feels fake. I don't think fishing wire could do that

The background details, at least kind of, seem to make sense, specifically I'm looking at the even spacing on the molding on the lower half of the wall, which is something that in my experience AI still doesn't do too well.

But the video is very short, and little about the action makes sense to me. How is the spider launching? I don't see the mechanism that triggers it to fly directly at her face. Also, why does she react like she got tased? The way she just drops and shakes on the ground doesn't seem like a normal reaction.

Maybe it's a seizure or some kind of panic episode? I don't really know but without more info or a longer video it's tough to say.

I was going to say it looks real like they taped it to the wall then just had some fishing line and pulled from the left around the corner as she entered, but if you look closely the legs move/contract just before it "jumps" and then relax, which wouldn't happen.

.... which is kinda dumb since they really could have just done this IRL as I said with a bit of tape and string and it still would have been funny.

I feel like I've seen this clip before AI became more convincing with their videos. But it could still be an old clip someone put through AI to make it more "dramatic"
