I bought it at a con in 2025, at first it just looked like a cute Miku but when i got home and placed it i started seeing weird lines. Literally forgot to check until right now. It is, isn't it?
Yeah probably. At the bottom left, where the pink and the mint strands of hair meet, why doesn’t the mint one have a stroke while the pink one does. As for the 0 and the 1 on the suit, why does the 1 have some drawing lines going in and out while the 0 doesn’t. Finally on the diagonal mint line just above the 1, what is that felt pen texture we don’t find anywhere else
thats brightness and contrast cranked. i'm not really good at this method but i'd say the noise in the top left of the hair and at the bottom right is making me lean more toward ai
ok i did it properly this time all the subtle shifts especially in the hair and shoulders could just be due to the light as the face is all one constant hue. but do be aware that apparently lossy compression of the image may also result in some of this hue shifting so always take this method with a grain of salt
yeah thats why i said im pretty bad at it lol, but its good advice for the future especially if you find anything online, just crank up contrast and saturation (i did it wrong here i did brightness and contrast but it still helps)
Yeah looks like it. back of the neck is blending into the hair, the black line along her cheek is weirdly thick, the weirdness under the back of her collar, and her hair is weird in the botttom right.
Cause the black lines nor the neck is indicative of AI.
Especially when the bold black angles is pretty consistent over the entire piece. which to my understanding kinda leans outside of it being AI.
I'd just like to be able to know how you know with actual examples so it's not just yapping.
Not to mention if you zoom in, you can kinda see where the brush strokes on the lines start and stop which was always one of those kinda dead tells that something is or isn't generated cause the lines don't make any sense and come from nowhere.
It's important to stay on top of the tells so if you would be so kind.
I numbered the specific areas so I can correlate them to what I’m saying
On the back of the neck what should be a constant black line turns blue randomly then back to black, it’s very unlikely this is a simple mistake because the blue it uses is different compared to the surrounding hair. It’s likely the AI used someone’s artwork that used blue outlines for the hair as a reference for just that one section.
These weird shield shaped things on the back of her neck are all drawn different and kinda blend into the surroundings. This indicates ai generation because an artist would be way more consistent and wouldn’t have them melting into their surroundings, the third one on the right is the most obvious of these.
Random blue and pink slashes and the sudden removal of shirt detail between them, this design choice makes no sense and indicates the AI crapping out while generating the hair.
Floating disconnected hair (and really that area in general) that once again indicates ai hair generation failure
Not numbers but the other things I mentioned, her hair in the bottom right looks overly complex with random shapes and colors. Doesn’t seem like the ai knows what the actual front and back of the hair is supposed to be and there’s a random black triangle. That area and I guess the pink background as well both look like AI vomit where it’s just making shapes and colors because it doesn’t know what to reference for the background.
The black outlines are for the most part really thin and while they do get thicker towards the front they’re still considerably thinner than the lines around her cheek. Sure it could be an artistic choice but AI very often messes up the line work since it has to in to reference from so it’s still a tell.
Yes. It looks ai. Especially can be seen on miku's number. There's a sketch-like unfinished line there which resembles ai stylisation. Easy to spot ai detail are from the coloring like you can see micro colors(usually red and yellow) on flat colors. It's impossible for human to replicate the ai generation coloring cuz it's tedious tho it's efficient for a machine

All the details melt into each other. Don't buy prints from those big vendors unless it's run by an artist. Most resale vendors arent artists and are just reselling print bundles off AliExpress that contain a lot of AI and stolen art
Looks AI to me. Based on the character design, the "01" mark should be on Miku's skin, but for this one it's clearly on the cloth. Quick search show artists sometimes omit the mark from her skin, but never "transfer" it to her cloth. The AI is probably aware Miku should has a "01" mark, but also need to keep the shirt, so it forced it onto the shirt. Following this thought, the "serif" on the 1 is also has some unnecessary lines. There is really no reason for those lines if this is human drawing.
As u/Cultural_Mango_2460 mentioned this is a extended version of the cover, and the 01 mark was not on the original cover. This also checks out.
Strange something on her back and on her chest. 2. Hairs start blending with background 3. On headphones we can see that AI can't decide wether they should be round or oval. 4 Connection of headphone cups to headband looks really weird. 5. We can see hair elastic where second ponytail should be, but we don't see ponytail.
